ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਸਾਕਸ਼ੀ ਸਾਹਨੀ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਿਰੀਖਣ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਭਲਕੇ 16 ਜੂਨ (ਐਤਵਾਰ) ਨੂੰ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਯੂ.ਪੀ.ਐਸ.ਸੀ. ਸਿਵਲ ਸਰਵਿਸਿਜ਼ (ਪ੍ਰੀਲੀਮੀਨਰੀ) ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ 2024 ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ। ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਮਤਿਹਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਚਾਰੂ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਨੇਪਰੇ ਚਾੜ੍ਹਨ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਕਾਰਜ਼ਕਰਤਾ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਪਰਵਾਈਜ਼ਰ, ਸਹਾਇਕ ਸੁਪਰਵਾਈਜ਼ਰ, ਵੈਨਿਊ ਸੁਪਰਵਾਈਜਰ, ਸਥਾਨਕ ਨਿਰੀਖਣ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ, ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ, ਨੂੰ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੂਮਿਕਾ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਿੰਮੇਵਾਰੀਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੀ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਨਿਭਾਉਂਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਇਹ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਸੁਚਾਰੂ ਅਤੇ ਸਫ਼ਲ ਆਯੋਜਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੁਕਾਵਟ ਪੈਦਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਅਣਗਹਿਲੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀਪੂਰਵਕ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਚਾਰੂ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਦੇ ਸਬੰਧਤ 17 ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਕੇਂਦਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਧਾਰਾ 144 ਲਾਗੂ ਰਹੇਗੀ।
ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਐਸ.ਸੀ.ਡੀ. ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪੁਰਾਣੀ ਇਮਾਰਤ, ਐਸ.ਸੀ.ਡੀ. ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਪੀ.ਜੀ. ਬਿਲਡਿੰਗ, ਐਸ.ਸੀ.ਡੀ. ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਕਾਮਰਸ ਬਲਾਕ, ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਪੀ. ਕਾਲਜ (ਲੜਕੀਆਂ), ਦਰੇਸੀ ਰੋਡ, ਜੀ.ਟੀ. ਰੋਡ, ਚਾਂਦ ਸਿਨੇਮਾ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ, ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਾਲਜ (ਲੜਕੀਆਂ) (ਸਬ-ਸੈਂਟਰ-ਏ), ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਕਾਲਜ (ਲੜਕੀਆਂ) (ਸਬ ਸੈਂਟਰ-ਬੀ), ਆਰੀਆ ਕਾਲਜ (ਲੜਕੇ), ਐਸ.ਆਰ.ਐਸ. ਪੋਲੀਟੈਕਨੀਕਲ ਕਾਲਜ, ਕੁੰਦਨ ਵਿਦਿਆ ਮੰਦਿਰ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਸੈਕੰਡਰੀ ਸਕੂਲ, ਡੀ.ਏ.ਵੀ. ਪਬਲਿਕ ਸਕੂਲ, ਨਨਕਾਣਾ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਸਕੂਲ, ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਦੇਵ ਇੰਜਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਕਾਲਜ, ਐਮ.ਬੀ.ਏ. ਬਲਾਕ, ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ (ਲੜਕੀਆਂ), ਗੁਜਰਾਂਵਾਲਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ (ਸਬ ਸੈਂਟਰ-ਏ), ਗੁਜਰਾਂਵਾਲਾ ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਖਾਲਸਾ ਕਾਲਜ (ਸਬ ਸੈਂਟਰ-ਬੀ), ਗੁਰੂ ਨਾਨਕ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਸਕੂਲ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਲਵਾ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਕਾਲਜ (ਲੜਕੀਆਂ) ਵਿਖੇ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
ਇਮਤਿਹਾਨ ਦੋ ਸੈਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਭਾਵ ਸਵੇਰੇ 9:30 ਤੋਂ 11:30 ਵਜੇ (ਪੇਪਰ-1) ਅਤੇ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ 2:30 ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮ 4:30 ਵਜੇ (ਪੇਪਰ-2). ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਘੰਟਾ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਕਾਰਡ ਨਾਲ ਉਪਰੋਕਤ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਯੂ.ਪੀ.ਐਸ.ਸੀ. ਦੁਆਰਾ ਐਡਮਿਟ ਕਾਰਡ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਸਤ੍ਰਿਤ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਸਾਰੇ ਕੇਂਦਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੇਟ ਸਵੇਰੇ 9:00 ਵਜੇ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸੈਂਟਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਣ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
ਹਰੇਕ ਕੇਂਦਰ 'ਤੇ ਪੁਰਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਸਮੇਤ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਹੇਠ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਮਤਿਹਾਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਲਈ ਵਰਤੇ ਜਾਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਮੋਬਾਈਲ ਫੋਨ (ਸਵਿੱਚ ਆਫ ਵੀ), ਪੇਜ਼ਰ, ਪੈੱਨ ਡਰਾਈਵ, ਸਮਾਰਟ ਘੜੀਆਂ, ਕੈਮਰੇ, ਬਲੂਟੁੱਥ ਯੰਤਰ, ਜਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਉਪਕਰਣ ਸਮੇਤ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਇਲੈਕਟ੍ਰਾਨਿਕ ਉਪਕਰਣ ਰੱਖਣ ਜਾਂ ਵਰਤਣ ਦੀ ਆਗਿਆ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
ਸਧਾਰਨ ਘੜੀ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਦੀ ਇਜਾਜ਼ਤ ਹੈ, ਪਰ ਇਮਤਿਹਾਨ ਕਮਰਿਆਂ/ਹਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਸੰਚਾਰ ਸਮਰੱਥਾਵਾਂ ਜਾਂ ਸਮਾਰਟ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ਤਾਵਾਂ ਵਾਲੀ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਘੜੀ ਦੀ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਮਨਾਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹਨਾਂ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਉਲੰਘਣਾ ਦੇ ਨਤੀਜੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਅਨੁਸ਼ਾਸਨੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਦੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰੀਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਾਬੰਦੀ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੈ।
Sakshi Sawhney directs officials to ensure smooth conduct of UPSC Civil Services Pre-Exam-2024
Inspects various exam centres, 144 imposed outside 17 exam centres

Deputy Commissioner Sakshi Sawhney on Saturday inspected various colleges and schools where UPSC Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2024 scheduled to be held on Sunday (June 16).
While directing the officials to ensure smooth holding of the exam, the Deputy Commissioner said that the exam functionaries, including supervisors, assistant supervisors, venue supervisors, local inspecting officers, police, and other officers had been made clear about their role and responsibilities.
She instructed the exam functionaries to ensure that any discrepancy hindering the smooth and successful conduct of the examination is avoided while performing their duties. She said that to conduct the examination peacefully and smoothly, Section 144 will remain in force around 17 respective examination centers of Ludhiana.
The exam will be held in SCD Government College, old building, SCD Government College, PG building, SCD Government College, Commerce block, SDP College for Women, Daresi road , GT road , behind Chand Cinema, Govt College For Girls (sub centre-A), Govt College For Girls (sub centre-B), Arya college for Boys, SRS Polytechnical College, Kundan Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, DAV Public School, Nankana Sahib Public School, Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, MBA block, Khalsa College for Women, Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College (Sub centre-A) , Gujranwala Guru Nanak Khalsa College (Sub centre-B) , Guru Nanak Public School and Malwa Centre College for women.
The exam will be held in two sessions i.e. 9:30 am to 11:30 am (Paper-1) & 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm (Paper-2).The candidates will be allowed to appear in the above exam with the admit card an hour before the start of the exam. Detailed important instructions have already been provided by the UPSC along with the Admit Card.
All center gates will be closed at 9:00 am sharp. After this nobody will be allowed to enter the centers.Adequate police personnel including male and female cops will be deployed at each center and all centers will be covered with frisking by the police department.
The candidates are not allowed to have or use any electronic devices, including mobile phones (even switched off), pagers, pen drives, smart watches, cameras, Bluetooth devices, or any related accessories that could be used for communication during the examination.
Use of simple wristwatches is permitted, but any wristwatch with communication capabilities or smart features is strictly prohibited inside the Examination Rooms/Halls. Any violation of these rules will result in disciplinary action, including a ban from future examinations.
