ਲੋਕ ਸਭਾ ਹਲਕਾ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਆਨੰਦਪੁਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਚ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦਾ ਅਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਗਰ ਅਤੇ ਖਰੜ ਹਲਕਿਆਂ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਚ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਡੇਰਾਬੱਸੀ ਹਲਕੇ ਚ 1 ਜੂਨ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਏ ਮਤਦਾਨ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਅੱਜ ਸ਼ਾਂਤੀਪੂਰਣ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੋਈ। ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਪੋਲੀਟੈਕਨਿਕ ਖੂਨੀ ਮਾਜਰਾ (ਖਰੜ) ਵਿਖੇ ਖਰੜ ਅਤੇ ਐੱਸ ਏ ਐੱਸ ਨਗਰ ਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵਿਖੇ ਡੇਰਾਬੱਸੀ ਹਲਕੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਮਤਗਣਨਾ ਕਰਵਾਈ ਗਈ। ਇਹ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਕਮ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਚੋਣ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਆਸ਼ਿਕਾ ਜੈਨ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਵੇਰੇ 8 ਵਜੇ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨ ਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਆਵੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਨਿਗਰਾਨੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਪੋਲੀਟੈਕਨਿਕ ਖੂਨੀ ਮਾਜਰਾ (ਖਰੜ) ਵਿਖੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਈ ਇਸ ਮਤਗਣਨਾ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮਾਈਕ੍ਰੋ ਅਬਜ਼ਰਵਰ, ਕਾਊਂਟਿੰਗ ਅਸਿਸਟੈਂਟ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਊਂਟਿੰਗ ਸੁਪਰਵਾਈਜ਼ਰ ਦੀਆਂ 19-19 ਟੀਮਾਂ (ਸਮੇਤ 5-5 ਰਿਜ਼ਰਵ) ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਸਨ।
ਹਰੇਕ ਹਲਕੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ 14-14 ਟੇਬਲ ਲਾਏ ਗਏ ਸਨ। ਖਰੜ ਹਲਕੇ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 20 ਰਾਊਂਡ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਹੋਈ ਜਦਕਿ ਐੱਸ ਏ ਐੱਸ ਨਗਰ ਹਲਕੇ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 18 ਰਾਊਂਡ ਚ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਡੇਰਾਬੱਸੀ ਹਲਕੇ ਲਈ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਦੇ 22 ਰਾਊਂਡ ਪੂਰੇ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਖਰੜ ਹਲਕੇ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਐਮ. ਕਮ ਏ.ਆਰ.ਓ. ਗੁਰਮੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ, ਐੱਸ ਏ ਐੱਸ ਨਗਰ ਹਲਕੇ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਐਮ. ਕਮ ਏ.ਆਰ.ਓ. ਦੀਪਾਂਕਰ ਗਰਗ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਡੇਰਾਬੱਸੀ ਹਲਕੇ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਐਮ. ਕਮ ਏ.ਆਰ.ਓ. ਹਿਮਾਂਸ਼ੂ ਗੁਪਤਾ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਨੇਪਰੇ ਚਾੜ੍ਹੀ ਗਈ।
ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਚੋਣ ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਨੇ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਡਿਊਟੀ ਦੇਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਸਮੁੱਚੇ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਮਤਗਣਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਤਰਤੀਬਵਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਮਿੱਥੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਨੇਪਰੇ ਚਾੜ੍ਹਨ ’ਤੇ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਗਿਣਤੀ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਮੁੱਖ ਪਾਰਟੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹਲਕਾਵਾਰ ਪਈਆਂ ਵੋਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਖਰੜ ਹਲਕੇ ’ਚ ਪਈਆਂ 159386 ਵੋਟਾਂ ’ਚੋਂ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 46622, ਆਪ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 40983, ਭਾਜਪਾ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 40391ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 17654 ਵੋਟਾਂ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ ਜਦਕਿ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ (ਅ) ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 5101 ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਜਨ ਸਮਾਜ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ 2681ਅਤੇ ਨੋਟਾ ਨੂੰ 1166 ਵੋਟਾਂ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ।
ਐੱਸ ਏ ਐੱਸ ਨਗਰ ਹਲਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁੱਲ ਪਈਆਂ 140267 ਵੋਟਾਂ ’ਚੋਂ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 41790, ਆਪ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 40967 , ਭਾਜਪਾ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 36005, ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 12523, ਬਸਪਾ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 1981 ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ (ਅ) ਨੂੰ 2580 ਵੋਟਾਂ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ। ਇਸ ਹਲਕੇ ’ਚ 1177 ਮਤਦਾਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਨੋਟਾ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕੀਤੀ। ਡੇਰਾਬੱਸੀ ਹਲਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਈਆਂ ਕੁੱਲ 196234 ਵੋਟਾਂ ’ਚੋਂ 65742 ਭਾਜਪਾ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ, ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ 46621 ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ, ਆਪ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 36390, ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 33748, ਬਸਪਾ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 4197, ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ (ਅ) ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ 3980 ਵੋਟਾਂ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ ਜਦਕਿ 926 ਮਤਦਾਤਾਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਨੋਟਾ ਦਾ ਬਟਨ ਦਬਾਇਆ।

The counting of votes polled on June 1 in District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar’s Kharar and SAS Nagar constituencies falling in Lok Sabha Constituency Sri Anandpur Sahib and Derabassi falling in Patiala Constituency was conducted peacefully today. Counting for Derabassi Constituency was taken place at Punjabi University Patiala while for Kharar and SAS Nagar at Government Polytechnic Khooni Majra (Kharar).
Divulging the details, Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Mrs Aashika Jain said that during the counting process which started at Government Polytechnic Khooni Majra (Kharar) at 8 am under the supervision of Counting Observer Mohammad Avesh deputed by the Election Commission of India. Each Constituency was allocated with 19 four-member teams including 5 reserved comprising Counting Supervisors, Counting Assistants, Micro Observers and Group D Employees.
A total of 14 tables were laid for each constituency. The counting of the Kharar constituency was completed in 20 rounds while the counting of the SAS Nagar constituency was conducted in 18 rounds. Derabassi constituency took 22 rounds to complete the process. She added that the counting exercise was led by the concerned AROs-cum-SDMs of Kharar, SAS Nagar and Derabassi, Gurmander Singh, Depankar Garg and Himanshu Gupta respectively.
The District Election Officer appreciated the entire counting staff and officers who were on duty during this sophisticated exercise that needs utmost attention to be carried out in an orderly and timely manner. During the counting, out of 159386 votes polled in the Kharar constituency, the Congress candidate got 46622, the AAP candidate 40983, the BJP candidate 40391 and the Akali Dal candidate got 17654 votes while the Akali Dal (A) candidate got 5101 votes. Bahujan Samaj Party got 2681 and NOTA got 1166 votes.
Out of the total of 140267 votes cast in the SAS Nagar constituency, the Congress candidate got 41790, the AAP candidate 40697, BJP candidate 36005, Akali Dal candidate 12523, BSP candidate 1981 and Akali Dal (A) 2636 votes. Apart from that, 1177 voters preferred NOTA in this constituency. in the Derabassi constituency, out of a total of 196234 votes polled, the BJP candidate got 65742 votes, followed by Congress candidate 46621, AAP candidate 36390, Akali Dal candidate 33748, BSP candidate 4197, Akali Dal (A) candidate 3980.
While 916 voters pressed the Nota button. ADCs Viraj S Tidke, Damanjit Singh Mann and Sonam Chaudhry were also present while SSP Dr Sandip Garg was monitoring the security arrangements in and out of the counting Centre premises.
