Jammu and Kashmir Sharnarthi Action Committee today called on Minister of State for Revenue Relief & Rehabilitation, Aijaz Ahmed Khan here.The Sharnarthi Action Committee highlighted various issues and demanded appropriate relief and rehabilitation package for displaced persons of 1947 from POK, besides their treatment at par with other migrants.The Committee also raised the issue of computerization and preservation of the records of displaced persons available in the offices of provincial rehabilitation offices.The Minister gave patient hearing to the deputation and assured them that their genuine demands will be considered and steps initiated for their redressal.
