The portal will facilitate around 20-25 per cent reduction in fare, besides creating over 50 lakh job opportunities. Approximately 1,70,000 transporters will be available on this single platform. It is estimated that more than 36.6 lakh trucks will be registered on this portal and their monitoring will be done without GPS system. The portal will facilitate real time availability of load and vehicles within seconds.
Murtaza further added, “Since we are targeting 1.7 lakh transporters to be connected with this system, it will have a huge potential for employment generation.
