Former Minister, MLA Vijaypur and Senior Vice President National Conferene Surjeet Singh Slathia today visited the border Village Nanga in Vijaypur constituency and interacted with the people of the area who are facing difficulties due to continuous  shelling from across the border. Mr Slathia assured the people that the government shall extend all possible help to the people who are badly effected by the firing at the border areas . Mr Slathia also assured the people that the security forces deployed at the border are competent to face the problems arising  due to heavy shelling .Mr Slathia said that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah shall continue to stress on centre to take up the matter with the Pakistan and resolve the issue so that the peace returns  on borders and on the LOCs.The district development commissioner samba Mr. R.K Verma and other senior officers of district administration , Panches and sarpanches also accompained the MLA during his visit.
