Minister of State for Youth Services & Sports, Science & Technology and School Education Mr. Feroze Ahmed Khan today inaugurated 3rd Shaheed Zulfikar Cricket Tournament at Khree Sultan Cho Stadium at Kargil.The tournament was organized by District Police Kargil in which more than 60 teams participated.Speaking on the occasion, the Minister appreciated the Police department for organizing such type of events for promotion of sports activities in Kargil, adding that such tourney provides platform to  the youth of the area to exhibit their talent. He said that Government is committed to provide better sports infrastructure to the youth of the State, especially living in remote and hilly areas so that their hidden sport potential is exploited.Mr. Feroze said that several initiatives have been taken to upgrade the sports infrastructure in the State, adding that sufficient funds have been earmarked under Sports sector during the current year with the aim to develop sports stadium to provide sports facilities.
