To redress the grievances of far off areas of tehsil Banihal, Minister of state for Technical Education, Power, CAPD, RDD and Information, Vikar Rasool Wani conducted an extensive tour of Paristan area along with officers of various departments on Saturday. While speaking on the occasion, Minister said that centre government have initiated various developmental and social welfare schemes for upliftment of weaker section of the society. He reiterated that government is committed for overall development of Banihal constituency. He said that during the last five year various developmental works have been completed and other under execution are on verge of completion.
He directed the officers of CA&PD to ensure ration supply within week time in area and assured cent percent electrification and upgradation of water supply. He also assured to concede the genuine demands within shortest possible time.He stressed upon the youth to come forward for free technical training. He assured an ambulance for the health centre and also a school bus for the area.Earlier, people of the area apprised the Minister of their demands and problems being faced by them which included Model village at Paristan, Higher secondary school at Senabathi, upgradation of MS Paristan, Completion of Senabathi to Paristan road, Gujrada to charna road, Water supply scheme for the area, health sub-centre Paristan, completion of Gujrada Road, transformers for the area and others.
