In Kashmir pision People’s Democratic Party registered its victory in 25 assembly constituencies. The winners included Muhammad Ashraf Mir (Sonawar), Asiya Naqash (Hazratbal), Abid Ansari from Zadibal, Altaf  Hussain Bukhari from Amerakadal, Noor Mohammad Sheikh  from Batmaloo, Mufti Muhammad Syead from Anantnag, Farooq Ahmad Indrabi from Dooru, Abdul Rahman Veray from Bijbehara, Abdul Rahim Rather from Kokernag, Mohammad Khalil Band from Pulwama, Mushtaq Ahmad Shah from Tral, Zahoor Ahmad Mir from Pampore, Hasseb Ahmad Draboo from Rajpora, Abdul Majeed from Homeshalibagh, Ab Majeed Paddar from Noorabad, Mohammad Yousuf Bhat from Shopian, Aijaz Ahmad Mir from Wachi,  Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjoora from Charar-e-Sharief, Javid Mustafa Mir from Chadoora, Raja Manzoor from Karnah, Imran Ansari from Pattan, Javid Beigh from Baramulla, Haq Khan from Lolab, Basharat Bukhari from Sangrama, Yawar Mir from Rafiabad, Mohammad Abass Wani from Gulmarg.

Only three candidates of the party were able to make it to the Legislative Assembly from Jammu pision. They included Qamar Din from Rajouri, Choudhary Zulufqar Ali fromDarhal and Shah Mohd Tantray Poonch from Karnah. Bhartiya Janata Party according to CNS made a sweep in Jammu Assembly segments winning about 23 seats. The party candidates who were declared winners included Rajesh Kumar from Jammu East, Satpal Sharma from Jammu West, Bali Baghat fromRaipur Domana, Kishan Lal from Chamb, Rajive Sharma       from Akhnoor, Sukh Nandan from Marh, Gagan Baghat from Ranbir Singh Pura, Choudhry Sham         from Suchetgrah, Kavinder Gupta from Gandhinagar, Ravinder Kumar Sharma from       Nowshera, Abdul Gani Kholi from Kalakote, Ajay Nanda from Reasi, Sunil Kumar from Kishtwar, Dr.Nirmal Singh from Bilawar, Rajive Jasrotia from Khutua, Lal Singh from Basoli, Kuldeep Raj from Heranagar, Jeewan Lal from Bani, R S Phthania from Ramnagar, Dina Nath Bagat from Chenani, Neelam Kumar from Ramban, Shakti Parhar from Doda and Daleep Parihar from Bhaderwah. 

BJP did not open its account either in Kashmir or Leh pision.   From Kashmir Assembly segments, National Conference candidates won only 12 seats while they grabbed only three seats from Jammu pision. The winners included Ali Mohammad Sagar from Khanyar, Shameema Firdoos from Habakadal, Mubarak Gull from Eidgah, Altaf Hussain Kaloo from Pahalgam, Aaga Ruallah from Budgam, Omar Abdullah from Beerwah, Nazir Ahmad Khan from Gurez, Main Altaf from Kangan, Mohammad Akbar Lone from Sonawari, Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar from Ganderbal and Mohammad Shafi Uri from Uri Assembly segment. From Jammu assembly segments, the party candidates who made to the legislative assembly included Davinder Rana from Nagrota, Kamal Verma from Bishnah, Javid Rana from Mendhar.  In Kashmir pision Congress party according to CNS registered its victory in only 4 assembly constituencies. The winners included Gulzar Ahmad Wani from Shangus, Mohammad Amin bhat from Devsar, Haji Abdul Rashid Dar from Sopore and Usman Majid from Bandipora. The party registered its victory from Nobra (Deldan Namgaial), Kargil (Asghar Karbalai) and Leh (Nawang Rigzin Jora).

From Jammu Assembly segments, the party candidates who were declared winners included Choudhry Mohd Akram from Surankote, Aijaz Khan from Gool, Choudhry Mumtaz Ahmad from Gulabgrah, G.M Saroori from Inderwal and Viqar Rasool from Banihal. The others who won the elections included Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami of CPIM from Kulgam, Hakim Muhammad Yasin of Peoples Democratic Front from Khansahab, Sajad Gani Lone and Bashir Ahmed of Peoples Conference from Handwara and Kupwara, Engineer Rashid of Awami Itihaad Party from Langate, and independent candidates including Syed Mohammad Zakir Rizvi from Zanskar and Pawan Gupta from Udhampur.
