Inquisitiveness has finally came to end as Peoples Democratic Party is leading in the battle of seats in Legislative Assembly polls counting.since early moring all eyes were on election results of Jammu and Kashmir polls that came to an end past week.Initial Leads and Results shows that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has lost the seat in Sonawari constituencies.Omar in a micro blogging site tweets "I Congratulate Ashraf Mir for his victory in Sonawri. I wish him and the people all good luck for the next 6 years. He is now my local MLA".
Election results said that another seat which had grabbed an intention of the state and for which Omar quits Ganderbal constituency Omar has won the seat by 907 votes. Omar was contesting against Congress candidate Nazir Ahmad Khan.Ruling party National Conference has won three seats among 12 contested seats, Ali Muhammad Sagar has won fron Khanyar constituenc defeating PDP leader Khurshid Alam, Mubarak Gul Speakers has won from Idd Gah constituency while as Shamima Firdous won from Habba Kadal constituency defeating PDP contestent Zaffar Mehraj and LJP candidate Sanjay Saraf.
