Haryana's Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij said that the party and government are always ready for the budget session, with a lot to share. However, he lamented that the opposition in Haryana has no issues to raise.

He remarked that the opposition is engaged in internal conflicts and has not yet been able to decide on a leader for their legislative party. In a democracy, both sides play a crucial role, but here, the opposition has been and remains insignificant. The opposition is still divided, whereas the government is fully prepared.

Sh.Vij made these remarks while interacting with the media persons after casting his vote in the Ambala Cantonment Municipal Council elections. Responding to allegations made by former Chief Minister Bhupinder Hooda regarding the BJP government's functioning, Vij hit back, saying that even when Congress was in power, they failed to see their own shortcomings.

He described their tenure as shameful, with numerous cases against them still ongoing. The outcome of these cases could be anything. He emphasized that under Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar's leadership, and now under Nayab Saini, Haryana has seen unprecedented development in the last ten years. Infrastructure, including highways and substations, is being built across the state, making Haryana a progressive state.

I had already planned a roadmap for the Transport Department in the first meeting – Transport Minister Anil Vij

Regarding improvements in Haryana Roadways, Transport Minister Anil Vij stated that he had outlined a roadmap for modernization in the department's first meeting. Plans include upgrading all bus stands, enhancing cleanliness, and improving the quality of food available there.

A pilot project for five cities has been proposed sent to the Chief Minister, where food services at bus stands will be managed by the Tourism Department. If an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) is not signed for any reason, an independent corporation in Haryana—similar to IRCTC in Indian Railways—should be established to ensure quality food for passengers and staff.

Sh. Vij also mentioned that efforts are being made to implement a bus tracking system to provide real-time updates on bus movements. Similar to flight status updates at airports, bus arrival and departure times will be displayed on digital boards at bus stands.

This initiative will benefit passengers significantly. Additionally, work has commenced on developing an app that will provide live tracking of buses. The High-Power Purchase Committee has already ordered the procurement of 750 new buses.

On the question of holding Janta Darbar, Minister Anil Vij said, “Wherever Anil Vij sits, that becomes his court, and he has been doing this continuously”

When asked by media persons about holding Janta Darbar, Cabinet Minister Anil Vij responded that he has been addressing public concerns wherever he sits, effectively making it his "Darbar"

Commenting on the statement about former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal potentially going to the Rajya Sabha from Punjab, Vij asserted that the "story of Aam Aadmi Party and Kejriwal is over." He claimed that their truth has been exposed before the public, adding that while the people can be misled once, they cannot be deceived repeatedly.
