Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini while addressing a programme in Ismailabad on Friday said that a roadmap for the state's holistic development has been prepared through the Sankalp Patra. Within the first 100 days of its tenure, the government has fulfilled 18 promises made in the manifesto, showcasing its commitment.
Further, efforts will continue at a rapid pace to fulfill these commitments, he said. The Chief Minister further said that with the Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi’s guarantee, Haryana will witness development at three times the speed under the triple-engine government.
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that the government has started working on fulfilling the promises made to the people of the state before the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. He assured that every promise made by the government will be fulfilled in a timely manner.
He said that within the first 100 days of its tenure, the state government has taken historic decisions in the interest of the people. During this period, 25,000 youth were provided government jobs, and free dialysis services were introduced for kidney patients.
Besides this, more than 1.5 lakh women are receiving LPG cylinders for Rs. 500, ensuring affordable access to cooking gas, said the Chief Minister. He said that the present state government has also allotted residential plots to over 15,000 people, with the process still ongoing for eligible applicants.
Under the Mukhyamantri Shehri Awas Yojana, in the first phase, 15,250 poor families across 14 towns and cities have been allotted 30-square-yard plots, marking a significant step towards providing secure housing for the underprivileged, informed the Chief Minister. He said that Haryana is the first state where all crops of farmers are being procured at Minimum Support Price (MSP).
The government has granted ownership rights to tenant farmers over their land. Families residing in houses built on Panchayati land for over 20 years have also been granted ownership rights. The Chief Minister further said that the ownership rights of the shops and houses under municipal corporations that have been taken on rent, lease, or license fee for over 20 years will be transferred to the occupants.
A policy has been introduced, allowing occupants to acquire ownership at rates lower than the collector rate, he shared. The Chief Minister emphasized that the government is focusing on strengthening infrastructure. He stated that the government is placing special emphasis on strengthening infrastructure.
The Chief Minister shared that the Ambala-Kotputli Greenfield Corridor (NH-152D) has been constructed at a cost of Rs. 10,646 crore, while the Ambala-Hisar via Kaithal National Highway (NH-10) has been expanded to four lanes at a cost of Rs. 1,200 crore. In addition to these major projects, continuous efforts are being made to enhance water supply, repair roads, and improve sanitation, ensuring better facilities for the people, shared Sh.
