History was made as the 38th edition of the iconic SJOBA Rally 2025 roared to life from Doaba Group of Colleges, Kharar, marking the first-ever flag-off from a private college. The event witnessed an electrifying atmosphere with 100+ high-speed cars and 150 powerful bikes, bringing together motorsport enthusiasts from across the country.
The flag-off ceremony was led by Mr. Navpreet Singh Sangha, Chairman, Doaba Group of Colleges, who proudly waved the rally into action. Hero Group powered this prestigious motorsports extravaganza as the title sponsor, while Doaba Group of Colleges partnered as the official venue host.
In a press meet ahead of the rally, key insights were shared by Harpal Singh Malvai, President, SJOBA, along with Danish Singh Mangat, Secretary; SPS Ghai, Clerk of Course; Nagendra Singh and Shivam Garg, Deputy Clerks of Course; and Nipun Mehan, Club Steward and Sumit Bahl Senior Executive member, SJOBA.
They revealed that this year’s edition features a whopping Rs. 6 lakh prize pool, prestigious trophies, and special accolades for top-performing racers.Adding to the thrill, the rally embraces women empowerment in motorsports, with three women riders taking on the challenge in the two-wheeler category, showcasing passion, grit, and determination on the racing track.
