CGC Mohali signs MoU with international Japanese company

Chandigarh Group of Colleges Mohali, Jhanjeri has entered into a partnership with an international Japanese company, providing a great international platform for the youth. Under an agreement with the world-renowned Forum Engineering Company, now CGC Mohali, Jhanjeri students will now be able to get direct job opportunities in renowned engineering and technology companies in Japan.

It is worth mentioning that this 43-year-old company is publicly listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange and its head office is in Tokyo Tower, which is also known as the Silicon Valley of Japan. Forum Engineering is working with 1400 listed companies with 35 branches. This leading Japanese company is playing a significant role in the field of engineering and technology. 

This partnership will open up new avenues for students to get high-level technical and management jobs abroad and for students. This Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Mr. Tsusomu Sato, President and CEO of Forum Engineering, Japan and Mr. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, Chairman of CGC Mohali. 

Along with this, high-level representatives of Forum Engineering visited CGC. visited Mohali, which included Tsutomu Sato, President and CEO, Forum Engineering, Hiroto Motohata, Vice President Forum Engineering, Yuji Ishige, Senior Managing Executive, Forum Engineering, Masahiro Koizumi, Managing Executive, Forum Engineering, Yoji Taguchi, Advisor, Forum Engineering, Noriko Miyamoto, GM, Kognavi India and Varun Moudgil, MD, Kognavi India. 

Welcoming the delegates, Arsh Dhaliwal, Managing Director, CGC Mohali, Jhanjeri said that this is a historic step for our institution, which is not only providing international jobs to the students but also opening up avenues for overseas employment for them. 

He further said that Japan is known for its technological innovation, commitment to progress and work ethic. While I am confident that our students will play a significant role in enhancing the pride of India across the world when they start their careers in this environment.

Chairman Rachpal Singh Dhaliwal, while emphasizing the long-term impact of this collaboration, said that this strategic alliance will enable our 2026 batch to get placements in the highest engineering and technology fields. Which will ensure that our students step into a global career directly in Japan after graduation. 

Chairman Dhaliwal said that at CGC Mohali, Jhanjeri, we always prepare students for international level competitions and provide international job opportunities to our students. While this partnership is a testament to our commitment towards providing international exposure and high-value career opportunities.

Highlighting the importance of the partnership for Japan, President and CEO of Forum Engineering, Tsutomu Sato said that with a critical shortage of skilled professionals in every country across the world today, Japan welcomes this collaboration. He added that the talent of CGC Mohali will play a significant role in maintaining our technological leadership. This is just the beginning of a transformative relationship.

Tsutomu Sato said that Japan is facing a shortage of technical professionals in technical fields, while India boasts a growing pool of engineering talent. This collaboration positions CGC Mohali, Jhanjeri as a leader in meeting the needs of global industry while providing students with unparalleled exposure to Japan’s cutting-edge fields including robotics, AI and advanced manufacturing. On this occasion, the CGC management also presented mementos to the delegation members while felicitating them.
