The 38th Surajkund International Crafts Fair is going on in full swing. Every tourist coming to the fair is getting to see artists, weavers, craftsmen as well as taste delicious Indian and foreign cuisines. More than 13 lakh tourists have visited the fair so far.

The programs going on in the four main stages built at different places in the complex - Maha Stage, Badi Chaupal, Chhoti Chaupal and Natyashala - are not only bringing alive the Indian cultural heritage but are also acting as a bridge between modernity and traditionalism. A glimpse of traditional rural life can be seen in the Chhoti Chaupal area built in the Surajkund Mela complex.

A wonderful blend of traditionalism and modernity is seen at the Badi Chaupal. The colours of culture are being spread through various stage performances, dialogue sessions and art exhibitions. In the evening, the audience starts arriving towards the Maha Stage. Many programs related to art, dance, music and theatre are being organized every day at night on the Maha Stage.

MD of Haryana Tourism Corporation Dr. Sunil Kumar says that as per the instructions of the government, necessary facilities have been provided for artists, craftsmen and tourists to promote art and culture in the fair.
