A two-day National Literature Festival was organized by Chandigarh Group of Colleges Mohali, Jhanjeri. In these two days, where eminent writers including Bollywood personalities participated, creative minds and enthusiastic readers participated and felt the world of literature to the soul.

This festival witnessed a beautiful blend of storytelling, intellectual discussion and art performance, which left an indelible impression on the heart of everyone. The festival began with the 'Luminary Hour', in which National Award-winning Bollywood actor and motivational speaker Ashish Vidyarthi participated. Ashish Vidyarthi captivated the audience with his special captivating colloquial language and Bollywood style.

He explored the fusion of literature and performance in detail. Along with this, Ashish Vidyarthi discussed in depth and detail the art of understanding stories, imbuing them with words in an inspiring way and motivating the reader through these words.

In addition, Bollywood's famous film director, writer and speaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri participated in 'Spectrum Talk', which was an exciting discussion on literature as a mirror of society. Vivek Agnihotri's unabashed exploration inspired the audience to consider the role of literature in conflicting voices and cultural discussions.

CGC Mohali MD Arsh Dhaliwal thanked everyone and said that Sahityam 2025 symbolizes our commitment to promote literary thinking and intellectual discussion. By bringing together distinguished writers, thinkers and intellectuals, we aim to inspire our students and society to engage deeply with literature and art, so that they can understand its profound impact on their personal growth and social development.

Another major attraction of the festival was the mega book launch, which showcased a dazzling display of thought-provoking works across genres. The session showcased the creative spirit of the writers and their ability to immortalize human experiences through the written word.

The books launched on the occasion included ‘The Dark Within’ by Vijay Kumar, ‘Fearless World’ by Dr. Shivani Kaushal, Krishna Kalsi and Japjit Kaur Arora, Adhivattha by Dr. Shivani Kaushal, Harshdeep Singh presented 'M&A Compendium: Insights from Future Legal Minds' Japjit Kaur Arora, Alia John, Muskan Dhamija and Aryan Thakur presented 'The Bliss: An English Poetry Book' Dr. Shivani Kaushik and Ashish Guleria presented 'You Do You' Karmaniya Kaur.

In an emotional session titled 'Ek Sham Patra De Naam', the forgotten art of letter writing was revived during the festival. Apart from this, several other sessions including Aagaz My Story concluded with a priceless memory of their own.
