NCC cadet’s senior under officer Nitin and CSM Akshat Sharma of Rayat Bahra University were felicitated at a special function organised on the university campus. Director of NCC/NSS, Prof. (Major) A.S. Chahal, stated that Senior Under Officer Nitin was the contingent commander of the PB/HYR/HP/CHD Directorate in the Republic Day Parade 2025 at New Delhi.
Both cadets brought laurels to Rayat Bahra University and 3Pb (I) Punjab NCC unit Ropar. Senior under officer Nitin and CSM Akshat Sharma are the cadets of 3Pb (I) Punjab NCC Ropar. They were given a grand welcome on their arrival at the university.
Lt. Col. Anup Pathania, Deans,Dr SK Bansal (Dean Academic), Directors, HODs and Subedar Avtar Singh attended this function. Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra and Dean Academic along with Director of NCC/NSS Prof (Major) A.S. Chahal honoured the two cadets with Roll of Honour.
The Chancellor waived the fees of the cadets for the duration of their enrolment at the university. Major A.S Chahal highlighted the achievements of Nitin and Akshat Sharma.
