In a significant outreach initiative, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, accompanied by SDM Gulmarg, Syed Altaf Hussain Musvi and other senior officers, visited the remote tribal villages of Baderkoot, Darakasi and Gugaldara in Subdivision Tangmarg.

The visit aimed to assess local issues, inspect infrastructure, and ensure the effective implementation of government schemes in these far-flung areas. During the visit, DC Baramulla inspected school buildings, roads, and other essential infrastructure, taking stock of their condition and identifying areas that need urgent attention.

 He interacted with the local population, listened to their concerns, and assured them that the administration is committed to addressing their developmental needs, particularly in education, road connectivity, and public services.

DC emphasized the importance of ensuring that government schemes and welfare initiatives reach tribal communities, urging the concerned departments to expedite necessary improvements. He reiterated the administration’s focus on inclusive development, ensuring that even the most remote areas benefit from essential services and infrastructure projects.

This outreach visit reflects the district administration's proactive approach to governance and citizen engagement. By directly interacting with people in remote areas, the administration aims to bridge development gaps, strengthen grassroots governance, and improve the quality of life for all communities in Baramulla.
