The Surajkund International Crafts Mela in Faridabad continued to mesmerize visitors with vibrant cultural performances on its second day. Artists from across India showcased their talent at various chaupals, offering a glimpse into the country’s rich traditions and heritage.
Among these, Chhoti Chaupal became the center of attraction, where powerful renditions of Haryanvi raginis, energetic group dances, and other cultural presentations kept the audience spellbound until evening.At Chhoti Chaupal, the day’s performances, organized by the Art and Culture Department and the Tourism Department of Haryana, commenced with a stirring presentation by folk artist Sh. Rajkumar Tewatia and his team from Palwal district. Their soul-stirring performance of the patriotic ragini.
Adding to the cultural splendor, students from Government School, NIT Faridabad, performed a mesmerizing group dance on the popular Haryanvi folk song. Their synchronized movements and vibrant expressions beautifully captured the spirit of Haryana’s folk traditions. The cultural programmes at Chhoti Chaupal continued throughout the evening, keeping the crowd engaged and entertained.
