Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij said that "I am committed to making Haryana Roadways the number one transport service in the country, and it will be ranked first. However, it will take time to bring about systemic changes." Vij made these remarks while responding to questions asked by media personnel in Rohtak today.
650 new buses will be purchased, strengthening the fleet of the transport department : Anil Vij
When asked about Haryana’s transport system, Vij said that "We are making significant improvements in the transport department. We are going to purchase 650 new buses and strengthen the department’s fleet. Additionally, to curb corruption and malpractice in bus passing procedures, we are introducing automated machines."
To ensure clean and hygienic food at bus terminals, a partnership will be established with Haryana Tourism. A pilot project will be launched at five bus terminals : Anil Vij
He further said that, "To provide clean and hygienic food at bus terminals, we are partnering with Haryana Tourism. Initially, this initiative will be rolled out at five bus terminals as a pilot project. If successful, it will be expanded to all bus terminals to ensure travelers have access to quality food.
If Haryana Tourism is unable to manage this initiative effectively, we will establish a corporation similar to the Indian Railways' catering division to maintain quality food services."
A tracking app will be developed for the convenience of passengers : Anil Vij
Vij also said that "To enhance passenger convenience, we are developing a tracking app that will provide real-time information on bus locations. Passengers, bus terminal staff, and display boards will all have access to this information. This system will include both government and private buses."
The Union budget has exempted individuals earning ₹1 lakh per month from tax, which is a significant move : Anil Vij
Responding to Bhupinder Singh Hooda’s criticism that the Union budget lacks provisions for farmers and other sections of society, Vij said, "A negative person only sees negativity. This budget is exceptional it has exempted individuals earning ₹1 lakh per month from tax, which is a massive relief for many people, as ₹1 lakh is a substantial amount. This is a historic step by the government."
The Modi government is a government for the common man, and this budget has prioritized their needs : Anil Vij
He further added, "Several decisions have been made to benefit the common man, such as reducing taxes on mobile phones, digital devices, and essential household goods, which will lower daily expenses.
The Modi government is a government for the people, and this budget has been designed with the common man in mind. It can truly be called a 'common man's budget.' Hooda should read the budget properly before commenting the credit limit for farmers has been increased from ₹3 lakh to ₹5 lakh."
Kejriwal is the king of liars and wants to play a game of deceit : Anil Vij
On the ongoing political debate regarding Yamuna’s water supply, Vij remarked, "We have already provided multiple clarifications on this matter. Kejriwal is the king of liars and wants to create panic through falsehoods. Spreading panic is a criminal offense."
Bharatiya Janata Party will form the government in Delhi : Anil Vij
Discussing the Delhi elections, Vij stated, "The BJP will form the government in Delhi. Kejriwal is facing corruption charges, and although he has been granted bail, people do not vote for corrupt and tainted leaders.
Several of his ministers are also embroiled in corruption cases. Do you think the people of Delhi will hand over their government to corrupt leaders? These individuals have only received bail; they have not been acquitted.
The cases against them are ongoing, and the people of Delhi are wise enough to ensure a BJP victory." Responding to allegations that the BJP is using the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for political gains, Vij stated, "The courts will decide.
Even AAP leaders have the right to defend themselves in court. The police only present the accused in court, and it is the judiciary that decides their fate. If the courts denied them bail for so long, it means their crimes are serious.
The court operates independently, and accusing it is baseless." When asked about Congress’s recent political rhetoric on "traitors," Vij commented, "These days, it seems that traitors are everywhere in politics."
