To celebrate the 209th birth anniversary of Satguru Ram Singh Ji, the founder of the Namdhari sect and a pioneer of the modern freedom movement, the Punjab Government will organize a state-level function at Sri Bhaini Sahib on February 2. During a meeting to review the preparations for the event, Deputy Commissioner Jitendra Jorwal announced that the function will take place on February 2. Several representatives of the state government, MLAs, senior leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), freedom fighters, and thousands of followers are expected to attend.
Jorwal also ordered the formation of a committee and outlined the responsibilities of officers from various departments to ensure the smooth conduct of the event. He urged them to carry out their duties with utmost dedication and sincerity, emphasizing the need for thorough planning and execution to guarantee flawless arrangements.
Prominent amongst those present on the occasion included SDM Jasleen Bhullar, RTA Kuldeep Bawa and others.
