District Development Commissioner (DDC) Reasi Nidhi Malik on Friday chaired a high-level meeting to review the functioning of the Tourism Department and assess the status of its assets.
Speaking at the meeting, the DDC emphasized the need for identifying untapped potential tourism sites in the district and directed the Assistant Director Tourism to initiate efforts to expand and diversify the tourism landscape.
Underscoring the importance of utilizing unused tourism assets, the DC urged the department to make them fully operational through concerted efforts. "Every investment in tourism infrastructure must translate into tangible benefits for the region," DDC Reasi.
