Chandigarh Engineering College (CEC) CGC Landran has been selected as one of the only 13 institutions across India, to host ‘Udyamotsav 2025,’ a flagship event spearheaded by the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell and AICTE, in collaboration with Startup Punjab, Government of Punjab.
The event is scheduled to be held on January 16, 2025, which is also commemorated as National Startup Day. Being designated to host this event is a testament to CGC Landran’s enduring efforts towards advancing innovation, entrepreneurship and building a strong startup ecosystem in the region.
Udyamotsav is a unique event designed to serve as a fundraising platform for early stage startups incubated within academic institutions. It will provide budding entrepreneurs and their startups with an opportunity to present their ideas to potential investors, attract investment & funding, gain expert mentorship and avail networking opportunities with leading industry professionals and investors.
The event is open to student and faculty-led startups as well as ventures supported by Higher Education Institution linked-incubation centres such as ACIC Rise Association in CGC Landran. This initiative aims to reshape the entrepreneurial landscape for innovators nationwide.
