Haryana Panchayats and Development, Mines and Geology Minister, Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar stated that Congress leader Randeep Surjewala is falsely alleging illegal mining by referring to Rajasthan's territory as part of Haryana. The Minister personally visited Nuh and Dadri to inspect the sites and found no evidence of illegal mining.
He accused Surjewala of making baseless political statements. The Minister Sh Krishna Lal Panwar conducted a visit to Nuh yesterday (Sunday) and also examined the hill near Firozpur Jhirka, which Surjewala had referenced in his allegations.
He clarified that just 10 feet from the site, the land falls under Rajasthan's khasra number 62. The Minister emphasized that the opposition is wrongly claiming it as Haryana's area for the purpose of making false accusations of illegal mining.
He advised Surjewala to verify the facts before making such groundless allegations, cautioning against political statements made without proper investigation.
Mining Completely Halted in Pichopa Village: Minister Krishna Lal Panwar
The Minister Sh. Krishna Lal Panwar also visited Pichopa village in the Badhra area of Dadri district today. Following his visit, he confirmed that mining activities in Pichoupa village had been completely stopped. No mining was taking place in the designated mining zone.
However, he mentioned an incident at a stone crusher, where a worker named Subhash was slightly injured when a stone slipped from the Shiv Shakti Stone Crusher belt and hit his foot. He received immediate medical treatment. The minister clarified that no illegal mining-related activities were found in the area.
Order issues for cancellation of License of SBPIPL mining company in Kaliyan Village
The Minister Sh. Krishna Lal Panwar also addressed the case of the SBPIPL mining company in Kaliyana village, Dadri district, where the mining officer had issued a notice on December 12, 2024. The company had failed to deposit approximately Rs. 30 crore owed to the government.
Despite repeated notices, the crusher continued its operations. Following an inspection, the minister ordered the suspension of this firm’s operations and instructed the mining officer to submit a suspension case to the Director.
