Emphasising for delivery of services to the residents with more dedication and diligence, the Deputy Commissioner Aashika Jain said the officers and staff of the DC Office should take this New Year resolution for serving the people as first and foremost duty.
Holding a meeting of the key officials and staff of the DC office, today, at Meeting Hall, District Administrative Complex, SAS Nagar Mohali, she said that the best office practices and good governance go side by side.
If we satisfy the people, visiting our offices with time-bound delivery of services, it will pay us as a good character of ours. She said that most of the services are being delivered through the Sewa Kendras and dial 1076 (visiting home) and our duty starts with the pouring in of the application in our log-in after submission of the application.
She said though the delivery days of particular public services are fixed but we should try to dispose of the application before the time line to show our dedication towards the people. She said that the CM Window and Help Desk are working to help and speed up the services besides lodging grievances, but if we redress the issues at our level without any hick-up then there would be no need to lodge grievances with the CM Window.
