Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Mr. Harvinder Kalyan, today lauded Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat programme, asserting that it continues to provide new direction and inspiration to the entire nation with each episode. He said that the programme motivates people from all walks of life to excel in their respective fields and inspires a collective commitment to progress.

The Speaker further said that Mann Ki Baat fosters a renewed sense of purpose and enthusiasm, particularly among the youth, who eagerly await its broadcast. He said this while addressing the gathering after the airing of the 117th episode of Mann Ki Baat in Jani village, Karnal.

Mr. Kalyan said that Mann Ki Baat serves as a powerful source of enlightenment for India’s youth, broadening their understanding of the country’s diverse cultures, traditions, and geographic landscapes. He further said that despite the challenges faced in various regions, the stories of resilience and success shared by the Prime Minister through the programme inspire the youth to pursue their dreams with determination.

Reflecting on the Prime Minister’s recent message, Mr. Kalyan said that the programme continues to ignite a spirit of renewal and action as the nation steps into the new year. The Prime Minister’s call to honor the 75th anniversary of the Indian Constitution on January 26th, 2024, instills a sense of national pride and reinforces the importance of upholding the values enshrined in the Constitution.

The Speaker also acknowledged the Prime Minister’s appreciation of the efforts made by the Health Department and local communities in Kurukshetra, Haryana, to combat malaria. The innovative use of street plays and active community participation in promoting cleanliness and controlling mosquito breeding has played a significant role in preventing the spread of malaria, a feat that was rightly celebrated in the Mann Ki Baat episode.

Mr. Kalyan further highlighted the Prime Minister’s message of unity as the Maha Kumbh approaches, a grand event set to begin on January 13th in Prayagraj. He said that the Maha Kumbh exemplifies the rich tapestry of India’s unity in diversity. The Prime Minister’s call for a united nation, symbolized by the uninterrupted flow of the Ganga, carries a powerful reminder that we must stand together, irrespective of differences.

The Speaker also praised the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to provide real-time information about the Maha Kumbh in 11 languages, making it accessible to people from all corners of the country. Concluding his remarks, Mr. Kalyan echoed the Prime Minister’s vision of the Maha Kumbh as a celebration of India’s vastness and cultural diversity.

The event, which will witness the participation of millions of people, thousands of saints, and numerous Akharas, will showcase the enduring spirit of unity that binds the nation together.
