Haryana Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya was on Tuesday extended a formal invitation to attend the grand Maha Kumbh-2025 by Uttar Pradesh Industrial Development Minister Shri Nand Gopal Nandi and State Minister Shri Jaswant Saini during a courtesy meeting at the Raj Bhavan.
The ministers presented the invitation on behalf of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath for the revered Maha Kumbh festival, scheduled to be held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, from January 13 to February 26, 2025. Governor Shri Bandaru Dattatraya graciously accepted the invitation and expressed his willingness to participate in the grand holy event.
The Uttar Pradesh Ministers also presented sacred Ganga water from the Sangam in Prayagraj to the Governor. Governor Shri Dattatraya honoured the ministers with a shawl and a statue of Lord Shri Krishna as a mark of respect for their visit to the Raj Bhavan.
Present on the occasion were Governor’s Secretary Shri Atul Dwivedi, IAS; ADC Squadron Leader Shri Mohan Krishna P; Governor’s OSD Shri Bakhwinder Singh; and Uttar Pradesh government officials including Special Secretary Shri Piyush Verma, Shri Divyanshu Shekhar, and Shri Manmohan Singh.
