Haryana's Development and Panchayat Minister Krishan Lal Panwar has said that Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar was the maker of the Indian Constitution and the BJP always respected Baba Saheb while the Congress insulted him.
He said after 1947, Congress governments were formed many times but they never gave Bharat Ratna to Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar and not even talked about it. In 1990, there was a non-Congress government and with the support of BJP and due to the efforts of late Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Sh. LK Advani, Baba Saheb was given the title of Bharat Ratna.
The Congress government never declared a holiday on Baba Saheb's birth anniversary but when Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi's government was formed, he declared a holiday on Baba Saheb's birthday on 14th April in 2015.Sh. Krishan Lal Panwar was addressing a press conference in Chandigarh today.
Prime Minister Modi developed 5 places related to Baba Saheb's life as pilgrimages
The minister said that in honour of Baba Saheb, Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi has worked to develop 5 places of his life as five pilgrimages. Sh. Narendra Modi had announced on 19th November, 2015 to celebrate Constitution Day on 26th November in the honour of Baba Saheb.
Along with this, in 2016, he also included Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar's palanquin in the Republic Day parade. He said the Prime Minister inaugurated Dr. Ambedkar Memorial at Mahaparinirvan Sthal in 2018. People of SC and ST community are very happy with the BJP government. The country is safe in the hands of Sh. Narendra Modi, he added.
Poor people will get plots in New Year
The Development and Panchayat Minister said previous governments had announced to give plots to the poor people but they had not been given the registry of the plots yet. Now all those people have been given the registry and possession of the plots by the Haryana Government.
He said the Nayab Singh Saini government had announced to give plots or houses to five lakh people, for which the survey is going on and in the coming new year, Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini will start the first phase of this scheme. The Haryana Government has decided to give 30 yards plots in Urban, 50 yards plots in Mahagram and 100 yards plots at a common general place.
The minister said we had brought a Bill in the Haryana Assembly under which if any person has built a house in an area of 100 to 500 yards on the land of the Gram Panchayat and that house is built 20 years ago, and if it is not in any pond, 'phirni' and agricultural land, then we will give it ownership rights for it.
