MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla said that the state government has completely failed to stop the blasts happening continuously in police stations in Punjab, so they should accept defeat now. MP Aujla has written a letter to Home Minister Amit Shah to take strict steps and action in this matter. MP Aujla also said during a press conference today that a wrong vote today can cost your children, so vote wisely so that your voice can play an important role in the development of the city.

MP Gurjeet Singh Aujla said during a press conference today that the recent grenade attacks and other violent incidents have created fear among the residents and have posed a serious threat to the peace and stability of the region. In the last one month, five/six grenade attacks have taken place in Punjab, out of which four have taken place in Amritsar alone. The audacity and frequency of such incidents indicate a complete collapse of the law enforcement and intelligence machinery in the state.

He said that information has been given in writing to Home Minister Amit Shah in this regard, in which he wrote that immediately assess the situation and deploy central intelligence and security agencies to investigate and prevent such incidents. Monitor and review the security system in Punjab, especially in sensitive areas like Amritsar. Take strict action against the anti-national and anti-social elements behind these attacks.

Work in coordination with the state government so that law and order can be restored without delay. This is not just a state matter but a matter of national security. Punjab, being a border state, cannot afford to become a hub of violence and unrest. He said that we must act decisively to ensure the safety of our people and the sanctity of our democracy.

During this, he said that at this time `daada-satta `, drug addiction is spreading in every locality and AAP leaders are providing protection. He said that in Amritsar itself, the clean water project, 75 km ring road, excellent condition of the airport, improvement of railway station are such projects which have been possible only after the coming of Congress.

He said that yesterday CM Bhagwant Mann went by luring people with the promise of electric buses whereas if people see, he has placed this demand before the Centre since 2017 and meetings are going on continuously. He said that the AAP government has failed on every front. Only the cleaning of Tung Dhab drain was started whereas after that the cabinet minister did not even try to know the situation, the issue of NOC has not been resolved till now.

He said that people cannot be lured only by advertisements. Government which has not been able to solve the daily problems of the people till now, what will it do in future. That is why only the Congress party knows how to solve the problems of the people. There are municipal elections in Punjab after two days. If people show negligence today and vote for such people again due to whom the law and order situation is already bad, then the future generations will suffer the consequences.

He said that today it is the duty of the people to choose good candidates for this holy city so that the city develops on every aspect. The House has a lot of power. He said that even if the government is of the opposition, but if there is a candidate who can get the work done, then the work does not stop. That is why people should work wisely and wherever Congress candidates are contesting, make them win and take a strong step towards saving Punjab.

During this, MP Aujla addressed the meeting by District Shopping complex in favour of Congress candidate from Ward No. 3 Dr. Navdeer Kaur Aujla. He said that instead of listening to people, they should see for themselves how the AAP people have ruined the situation of Punjab after coming to power and today every section is troubled. That is why people should vote in favour of Congress so that this situation can be handled.
