Haryana Cooperation Minister, Dr. Arvind Sharma said that Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi is the biggest well-wisher of farmers. Many steps have been taken by the centre and the state government to increase the income of farmers. He called upon the farmers to refrain themselves from agitations and contribute to the development of the state.
Some people want to spoil the atmosphere of the state. Farmers should be careful of such people, said Dr. Arvind Sharma while addressing the gathering after formally inaugurating the 35th sugarcane crushing season of Cooperative Sugar Mill, Meham in Rohtak on Thursday.
The Cooperation Minister said that to overcome the problem of shortage of labourers for sugarcane farmers, the government will provide about 4-4 small sugarcane harvesters to each mill. He said that the government will not let the farmers face any kind of problem, assured the Minister.
Dr. Arvind Sharma said that under the leadership of Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini, the state government is purchasing all crops at the Minimum Support Price. He said that the central and state governments are working for the welfare of farmers, women and the poor.
