Haryana Health Minister Arti Singh Rao emphasised the state's commitment to strengthening its healthcare system and promoting research through prioritised and dedicated initiatives. She stated that the Haryana government always places the health and well-being of its citizens as a top priority. The government is committed to fostering an environment that encourages medical excellence and innovation. 

The Health Minister was speaking as the Chief Guest at the 34th Annual Conference of the North Zone Urological Society of India, 'NZ-USICON-24,' held on Friday evening in Gurugram. She inaugurated the conference by lighting the ceremonial lamp. 

While addressing the annual conference, Health Minister Ms. Arti Singh Rao said that Haryana has always been at the forefront of promoting healthcare initiatives, and such events are crucial for advancing medical science and patient care. She expressed hope that this conference of medical professionals would play a significant role in addressing health challenges, advancing cutting-edge research, and promoting skill development among medical professionals. 

She highlighted that such gatherings in the medical field not only foster new ideas and solutions but also benefit society at large. She said that holistic health and well-being can help in enhancing everyone's potential and with this aim, the health infrastructure in Haryana will be strengthened further. 

She also urged the organisers to share the meaningful outcomes of the conference discussions so that the government can leverage the valuable suggestions of medical professionals to further improve healthcare facilities in the state. During the event, the Health Minister also visited an exhibition showcasing the latest medical innovations and released the souvenir of the Urological Society of India.

The organisers informed the Minister that over a thousand young urologists from the northern region would be sharing their experiences at the conference. More than 10 live surgeries from various hospitals in Gurugram would be broadcast during the conference. 

Apart from this, three live surgeries demonstrating recent advancements in urology would be performed. The progress of the Haryana Urology Association was also shared with the Minister, revealing that the association, which started with 12 members, now has over 80 members.
