Haryana Development and Panchayats Minister, Krishan Lal Pawar, expressed confidence that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's program on December 9 will be a resounding success and a significant milestone in empowering women. He further highlighted that the Haryana government will organize a large-scale employment fair in Panipat in December to provide job opportunities for the youth.

Prominent industrialists will be invited to the fair to ensure maximum employment for the youth. The government's goal is to equip as many young people as possible with the skills needed to stand on their own feet, and to support this, library facilities will be established in 1,000 villages across the state.

The Minister shared these details while reviewing the preparations for the Prime Minister's program with officials in Panipat on Monday. He said that providing basic facilities in rural areas is a key priority for the government. As part of this initiative, 250 open gyms will be set up in villages to encourage youth to stay healthy and gain valuable knowledge.

The Minister also said that the state government will establish cultural centers for women in more than 6,500 villages, with 1,000 cultural centers expected to be operational by next year. He further revealed plans to improve and beautify 1,000 of the state’s approximately 19,000 ponds in the first phase. Officials have been instructed to ensure proper seating arrangements and the planting of flowers around these ponds, ensuring that the ponds across the state will soon be transformed into attractive and well-maintained spaces.

Additionally, the Minister stated that the phirnis in 1,000 villages will be cemented, and special arrangements will be made for street lighting. The Haryana government is working to create an urban-like atmosphere in rural areas, and all promises will be fulfilled on time.

He also reaffirmed the government's commitment to supporting farmers, stating that every year, farmers are honored through the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. He said that the scheme provides an annual financial support of Rs. 6,000 to 12 crore farmers.
