HSFDC provides Rs.410.46 lakh financial assistance- Krishan Kumar Bedi

Haryana Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (HSFDC) has provided financial assistance of Rs.410.46 lakh,  including a subsidy of Rs.36.62 lakh, to 502 beneficiaries under various schemes during the current financial year, till October 2024. Sharing information in this regard Social Justice, Empowerment, SCs  and BCs Welfare and Antyodaya (SEWA) Minister, Sh. Krishan Kumar Bedi said that the corporation provides loans to people belonging to scheduled castes under various categories including  agriculture, allied sector, industrial sector and trade and business sector, to enable them to establish their own business and self employment ventures. 

Financial assistance is also being provided to them under the schemes implemented with the support of the National Scheduled Castes Finance and Development Corporation (NSFDC) . He said that under the agriculture and allied sectors, loans of Rs.214.24 lakh have been provided to 268 beneficiaries for dairy farming, sheep rearing, pig rearing and Jhota-Buggi. 

Out of this,199.21 lakh has been  disbursed as bank loans and Rs.15.03 lakh as subsidies. Under the industrial sector schemes, 41 beneficiaries have been provided with an amount of Rs. 14.60 lakh, out of which Rs.9.16 lakh has been disbursed as bank loans, Rs. 3.98 lakh as subsidies, and Rs.1.46 as margin money.

Similarly, under the Trade and Business sector, 166 beneficiaries have been provided with an amount of Rs. 161.62 lakh, out of which Rs.128.94 lakh has been disbursed as bank loans, and Rs.16.51 as subsidies, and Rs.16.17 lakh as margin money. 

Sh. Bedi stated that under the schemes implemented with the support of the National Safai Karamcharis Finance and Development Corporation(NSKFDC), a total of Rs.18 lakh has been provided to 18 beneficiaries during this period. 

This includes a direct loan share of Rs.14. 90 lakh from the NSFDC and a direct loan share of Rs. 2 lakh from the HSFDC .
