In order to expedite the development works, improve the main roads and ensure cleanliness, MLA Kulwant Singh today visited the main roads of Mohali city. During this inspection, he visited Mohali Airport Road, Kumbra Light Point, Sector 71-Phase 7 Light Point, 3-5 Light Point and Phase 5.
He was accompanied by Municipal Commissioner T Benith and Chief Engineer of M C Mohali, Naresh Batta and other officials. The MLA held a detailed discussion on the spot and issued necessary instructions to set the things right.
The officers were instructed to expedite the development works and not to compromise on the quality of the development works. The officers were also asked to ensure cleanliness, repair the pavement paver tiles, fix the sewerage main holes, repair and moderate the divider railings.
MLA Kulwant Singh and Municipal Commissioner T Benith instructed the officers to regularly remove the bio waste from the parks and green belts. The MLA said that projects worth crores of Rupees are going on in the constituency.
He instructed the concerned officers to address the issues of the people as soon as possible.The MLA and the Municipal Commissioner instructed the officers to go to the field daily to keep check and expedite the development works and ensure cleanliness in the city.
