The Haryana Cooperation, Jail, Heritage and Tourism Minister Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma, said that India’s culture is the richest in the world, shaped significantly by its saints and sages. He highlighted how their devotion, chanting, and penance have not only reformed society but also offered it a profound sense of affection, humanity, and moral direction.

"These saints fought against social evils while imparting timeless lessons of compassion and unity to the world," Dr. Sharma said. The Minister was speaking during the Akhand Paath of Sant Garibdas' Amritmayi Vani, organized in memory of his grandfather, Sant Pandit Jankiaas, at Adarsh Nagar in Jhajjar on Sunday.

Dr. Sharma, along with his mother Smt. Bimla Devi and other family members, performed pooja at the event and interacted with the attendees. He emphasized that service plays a vital role in every individual's life, teaching humility and selflessness. "Service nurtures a sense of dedication and prevents the growth of ego. It is crucial for individuals to receive the blessings of saints and sages, which is why programs like this should be organized," he stated.

He added that the tradition of Guru Garibdas Amritvani Paath has been continuing for about 120 years, since the time of his great-grandfather, grandfather, and father. The annual event, held from November 10 to November 12, continues to draw devotees who seek spiritual solace. Dr. Sharma expressed his commitment to preserving and advancing this tradition.

The Minister further said that people from various regions travel to attend this event, where they receive blessings from the saints. "I am working with a spirit of service, following the path shown by my ancestors, and I am confident that I will continue to receive the blessings of saints and sages," he remarked, bowing in reverence to his grandfather, Sant Shiromani Janaki Das, and his father, Satguru Das.

Dr. Sharma further praised Sant Garibdas, stating that he did not belong to any specific caste or community but was a beacon for all of society. "Sant Garibdas ji Maharaj composed Amritmayi Vaani for the welfare of all living beings, and just listening to it brings blessings.

During the three-day Vaani Paath, there will also be discourses by saints and spiritual leaders," he said. He urged the attendees to pledge to incorporate the teachings of the saints into their lives, promoting values of equality, love, and brotherhood in society.

Government Formed for the Third Time with Blessings of 36 Communities: Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma

Responding to questions from journalists after the event, Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma said that the state government is focused on promoting tourism in Haryana and taking it to new heights. "Development works will be expedited, and the state government is committed to fulfill the expectations of the people," he stated.

Dr. Sharma emphasized that the state government, formed for the third consecutive time with the blessings of the 36 communities, is dedicated to serve the people. "The state government, led by Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi and Chief Minister, Mr. Nayab Singh Saini, has received overwhelming support, as evident from the voting patterns in Haryana," he said.

He said that the state government is already fulfilling its promises made in the Sankalp Patra, including issuing appointment letters to 25,000 youth, which has brought great joy among the younger generation. "Under the leadership of Chief Minister, Mr. Nayab Singh Saini, the state government is committed to the development of all sections of society, including farmers, agricultural laborers, athletes, women, and youth," he added.
