BJP Mahila Morcha President Jai Inder Kaur today led a hunger strike outside the Patiala SSP Office, condemning the Punjab Police's glaring inaction in the Sanaur violence case. "The AAP government's shielding of culprits is unacceptable," Jai Inder Kaur asserted. "The 15-day delay in arrests has eroded public trust in law enforcement.
We demand swift justice and accountability from the Bhagwant Mann-led government." Jai Inder Kaur lambasted the AAP government's law and order failures. "Sanaur's violence exposes the administration's ineptitude. Police inaction undermines democracy."
In a significant development, SP Sarfraz Alam met with the protesters, urging them to end the hunger strike and assuring them that definitive action would be taken against the perpetrators soon. Following this assurance, the hunger strike was called off.
The Sanaur violence case has sparked widespread outrage, with many demanding justice for the victims and their families. The BJP Mahila Morcha's hunger strike has amplified the calls for accountability and action.
