The Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is prioritizing the education and health sectors, as the future of Punjab can only be secured through revolutionary changes in these areas. This was stated by Punjab's Minister for Local Government, Dr. Ravjot Singh, during a mega parent-teacher meeting held today at the School of Eminence, Nawanshahr, and Government Senior Secondary Smart School, Jadla.

He emphasized that, over the past two and a half years, while government schools have been transformed by the Punjab government, revolutionary changes have also been introduced in the health sector. Dr. Singh highlighted that this is the third parent-teacher meeting organized by the government in public schools across the state, aimed at modernizing government schools.

He pointed out that such efforts were previously limited to private schools, but have now been extended to government schools as well. Dr. Singh explained that teachers, students, parents, school management committees, and other key stakeholders can collectively improve school education by discussing and addressing concerns together.

He noted that during these meetings, the results of exams conducted in September were shared with the parents. Teachers and parents are exchanging feedback on the children's performance both in and out of school.

This helps the teachers understand the students' activities outside of the classroom, while parents gain insight into school management and operations.Parents are also offering suggestions for their children's future and voicing any concerns they may have.

As part of the government's ongoing efforts to bring qualitative and revolutionary improvements to school education, parent-teacher meetings were held today in 20,000 government primary and upper primary schools across Punjab, with over 2 million parents participating. Dr. Singh added that Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann also attended a meeting at Nangal.

Constituency In-Charge of Nawanshahr Lalit Mohan Pathak (Ballu), District Planning Committee Chairman Satnam Singh Jalalpur, Improvement Trust Chairman Satnam Singh Jalwaha, Market Committee Nawanshahr Chairman Gagan Agnihotri, District President of Hoshiarpur Gurwinder Singh Pabla, Sarpanch of Jadla Puneet Rana, Principals Sarabjit Singh and Dr. Baljit Kaur, along with the staff of both schools and other prominent figures, were present on the occasion.
