Bhagwant Singh Mann, Chief Minister, Punjab, is a revolutionary leader, and his vision has resulted in the revolution in the education and health sectors in the state. This was stated by Tarunpeeet Singh Sond, Cabinet Minister, Punjab, while participating in the Mega Parents Teacher Meet at School of Eminence, Amloh.
Lauding the efforts of the state government in the field of education, the cabinet minister said that the Mega Parents Teacher Meet is a unique effort that will boost the performance of the students. He said that first time in the history of school education in Punjab, such a type of initiative has been taken.
Education was not on the agenda of the previous governments, because of which the education system of the government had degraded. Mr. Sond divulged that the state government, under the leadership of Bhagwant Singh Mann, CM, Punjab, is primarily focusing on the education field.
In the series of efforts being done for the upliftment of this sector, the School of Eminence came into existence, which is loaded with advanced education equipment and techniques. Now high tech labs, classrooms with projectors and sound systems, new washrooms, ramps, grounds, and sports equipment are integral parts of the government schools.
Earlier, people used to prefer only private schools for their children, but now they are preferring government schools over the private schools. Moreover, many students are shifting to government schools from private schools.
The cabinet minister said that with the help of parent-teacher meetings, the parents would remain aware of their children, and they would be able to pay special attention to the things being told by the teachers. This practice would play a vital role for the bright future of the students.
He said that the state government is not leaving any stone unturned for the betterment of the students. The cabinet minister also visited the educational exhibition organized by the school students and also interacted with the parents.
On this occasion, MLA Amloh Gurinder Singh Garry Warring, ADC Gitika Singh, ADC (D) Surinder Singh Dhaliwal, SDM Manjit Singh Rajla, OSD to Education Minister Gulshan Chhabra, Principal Iqbal Singh,Block president of AAP Sikander Singh Gogi and State Joint Secratary Trade wing AAP Kishore Chand Khanna, a large number of students, parents, and staff members were present.
