Celebrating the Dussehra Festival with the residents of Kurali on Saturday evening, the Member of Legislative Assembly from Kharar Constituency, Mrs Anmol Gagan Mann emphasised maintaining the tradition of good deeds. She said that the decades-old tradition of burning the effigies of Ravana, Meghnath and Kumbhkarna conveys to us that the truth always prevails over evil things.
She said that Lord Rama fought for a mission of eliminating bad deeds and he succeeded and set an example for us that victory of good over bad is eternal truth. She said that Lord Rama was always known for his words and commitment to truth, so we should learn a lesson from history that truth always wins.
Reiterating her commitment while congratulating the residents on this pious occasion Anmol Gagan Mann said that she will always be grateful to the people of her constituency who supported her to chose as their representative and she will always remain indebted to them.
She said that working on promoting peace, amity and brotherhood among the people, the welfare and development of the people will always be her top priority. She was accompanied by her husband Shehbaz Sohi and Mother in law Sheelam Sohi.
