In a various public meetings held today in different area of Jammu east constituency while campaigning for BJP Jammu east candidate , former minister ,NEM and Sr BJP leader Priya Sethi praised the residents of Jammu who are actively participating in the festival of democracy and said that first time in history, Jammu will decide and will play key role in Govt formation and this is only possible as the Jammu people have understood that Jammu was never priority for congress party and its leadership.
She further added that congress always tried to be Kashmir Centric party and that is why there focus was always for Kashmir which still exists continuously and that is proved too while doing campaigning for assemble election.While addressing the gathering Sethi praised the extensive developments undertaken by the Modi government in Jammu and Kashmir, specifically in the Jammu division.Priya Sethi added that at first instance it was the welfare schemes which got implemented at the grass root level by direct transfer benefits.
She added that the historical decision of abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, construction of Shri Ram Mandir were the important promises which BJP had made and were fulfilled by Modi led Government.Priya Sethi who is BJP HQ incharge also further added that no other Government except BJP had the courage to give the fundamental rights to West Pakistan refugees, Valmiki Samaj and a dignified value to the daughters .
She added that Government has abolished the interview for the lower and non-gazetted posts to end malpractices in recruitment process . She said that the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) Benchs were established at Jammu and Srinagar for the benefit of the employees of the Jammu and Kashmir .It is only Modi Govt which renamed KAS as JKAS (Jammu Kashmir Administrative Services) ,where was Jammu name in last 70 years .
She asked to Congress.Sr leader BJP said that historical steps like One Nation One Tax, One Nation One Ration Card, Affordable Rental Housing Scheme, One Rank One Pension, appointment of Chief of Defence Staff, Ayushman Bharat, Gareeb Kalyan Yojna, MSME package, special package for farmers, etc were taken for the benefit of the masses.She further added that establishment of AIIMS, IIT, IIM, bridges,Roads,Parking at Bus stand ,Parking at Panjtherthi and many more are the achievements of Modi Government particularly for the Jammu region.
She said that unlike the terms of successive regimes headed by Congress and other regional political parties whereby people of Jammu had to fight for their genuine demands including development projects, the Modi government has established a system ensuring satiation of people’s aspirations in precisely perfect manner and the result is AIIMS, IIT, ring roads, IIM etc in Jammu area and all this became a reality without any hassle or unnecessary tussle between the government and the people.
The Modi government has prioritized security in the region, leading to the establishment of better surveillance systems and increased police presence, which have collectively fostered a safer environment for residents and visitors she added.Priya Sethi said the progress we have made under the Modi government is remarkable, but it is crucial to ensure that this momentum continues.
Together, we can secure a bright future for Jammu,” she stated.Priya Sethi asserted that people should cast their votes in the upcoming polls on Ist October for BJP because their vote in BJP’s favour can increase the pace of development manifold times .She urged voters to unite behind the BJP’s vision for a prosperous and harmonious India, underscoring the party’s dedication to advancing the welfare of all citizens.
