Smriti Irani, former Minister of Information and Broadcasting, energized supporters during a public rally at Ramgarh in support of BJP candidate Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, the MLA candidate for Ramgarh. Irani emphasized the BJP's commitment to restoring statehood to Jammu and Kashmir, stating, “Statehood will be restored after elections.”
She urged voters to support the BJP, highlighting it as a nationalist party dedicated to the region's progress. In her address, Irani criticized the National Conference and Congress, accusing them of collaborating with Pakistan and misleading voters about the potential restoration of Article 370.
“Let me assure you that Article 370 is done and dusted forever,” she asserted. Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal also addressed the gathering, outlining his vision for Ramgarh, which includes prioritizing education, healthcare, and infrastructure development.
