VIT-AP University proudly hosted its 4th Convocation ceremony on September 21, 2024, celebrating the remarkable achievements of the Class of 2024. The event took place on the university's scenic campus, marking a significant milestone in the graduates' academic journeys. 

The ceremony was attended by esteemed guests, faculty members, staff, proud parents, and the graduands themselves. Sri.S. Abdul Nazeer Hon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh, served as the Chief Guest, while Shri Amjad Khan Pathan - Vice President and Center Head, Bosch Global Software Technologies, Hyderabad was the Guest of Honour.

Sri.S. Abdul Nazeer - Hon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh while addressing the graduands, emphasized the crucial role of youth in achieving the goal of a developed India by 2047 (Vikasit Bharat). He urged the students of VIT-AP University to contribute their part to nation-building and development. 

He congratulated the students who graduated in this fourth convocation and praised VIT-AP University for its various skill development and social service initiatives. He specifically appreciated the STARS program, which provides free education and accommodation at VIT-AP University to talented students who topped in Govt junior colleges from rural areas in all districts of Andhra Pradesh.

He said that the Convocation Ceremony is a testament to the dedication and perseverance displayed by the graduates. It is a moment of pride for the university, as it witnesses the students stepping onto the threshold of a new phase in their lives, equipped with knowledge, skills, and a strong sense of purpose. 

Today’s Convocation underscores VIT-AP University’s commitment to fostering well-rounded individuals who are not only academically proficient but also equipped to contribute positively to the society. Education is not just about textbooks and examinations. It is a journey of self-discovery, a voyage that moulds you into individuals who can think critically, communicate effectively, and adapt to the ever-changing landscapes of our globalized world.

Sri.Amjad Khan Pathan - Vice President and Center Head, Bosch Global Software Technologies, Hyderabad who graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour said that students who remain dedicated are better equipped to face challenges. He reminded the audience that convocation represents not just an ending, but a new beginning, urging graduates to embrace lifelong learning.

G. Viswanathan, Founder and Chancellor of VIT, remarked that the grand convocation reflects the university’s commitment to nurturing talent and fostering excellence. He commended the Class of 2024 for their hard work and resilience, assuring them that they are well-prepared to make an impact in their future endeavours.

Among the graduates were: 1,665 graduates from the Class of 2024 received their degrees. Among them, 19 students achieved gold medals and 109 earned ranks.
