BJP's membership drive was formally launched through a grand ceremony at BJP State Office, Kamalam. In this program, senior BJP workers, activists and supporters gathered and started the new membership initiative of the party.The program started with the lighting of lamps, after which the membership process was started, in which BJP office bearers renewed their membership. New members joined the BJP.
On this occasion, State President Shri Jatinder Pal Malhotra in his address gave detailed information on the importance of the campaign and the upcoming plans of the BJP. He said that this campaign is an important step to reach the ideas and work of the BJP to the masses and this will further strengthen the presence of the party in Chandigarh.
The State President further said, “Our membership drive is not just an effort to increase the numbers, but it is an effort to stabilize the ideas and vision of the BJP in the hearts of the people. This campaign is an important step towards taking the ideology of BJP to the wider public and bringing positive change in the society.”
The party has provided various means for membership, including missed call, WhatsApp, website, QR code, Namo App and party slips. The missed call and WhatsApp number is 8800002024.The membership campaign will be conducted from the state and district level to Shakti Kendra, booth and mandal level.
On this occasion, Chandigarh State Organization General Secretary Minister Srinivasulu, State Vice President Shakti Prakash Devshali, Rambir Bhatti, Secretary Ramesh Sahod, Office Secretary Manish Sharma, Rajya Sabha MP Satnam Sandhu, former MP Kiran Kher, former BJP President Sanjay Tandon and Arun Sood, General Secretary Hukam Chand and Amit Jindal and all District Presidents-General Secretaries, Front Presidents-General Secretaries, Mandal Presidents, Cell and Department Convenors were also present.
