As the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections draw near, political tensions are escalating, with the first phase of voting set for September 18 National parties, along with local political groups, are gearing up to contest for the 90 assembly seats. The Aam Aadmi Party has also entered the fray, with candidates vying to bring the successful "Delhi model" of governance to Jammu and Kashmir.

In Pulwama district, two AAP candidates are contesting, advocating for the implementation of the Delhi model, which they believe will resonate with the aspirations of the people in the region. Mudasir Hassan pointed out that Jammu and Kashmir has been under the dominance of two political families for decades, and now is the time for the people to break free from this dynastic politics.

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Mudasir Hassan who is Contesting from Rajpora Constituency has issued a bold statement in the lead-up to the 2024 Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized that although the BJP government might imprison AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal, they cannot stifle his ideas. 

Mudasir highlighted that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are eager for a profound political transformation in the region.He emphasized that the Aam Aadmi Party’s manifesto is focused on delivering good governance and ushering in a new era of political change in Jammu and Kashmir.

He further elaborated on the AAP's vision, which includes implementing policies similar to those in Delhi, such as free electricity, free water, and free bus services for the underprivileged. e expressed confidence that these initiatives will bring much-needed relief and progress to the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
