The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has released its third list of 29 candidates for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. The list includes prominent figures and new faces, with key candidates fielded for crucial constituencies across the region.
Notable candidates include Devinder Singh Rana, who will contest from the Nagrota seat, and Pawan Gupta, representing the Udhampur West seat. The BJP has also selected Chowdhary Abdul Ghani for the Ponch Haveli seat and Baldev Raj Sharma for the Mata Vaishno Devi seat.
The names of the candidates were officially approved by the BJP Central Election Committee, marking another step in the party’s preparation for the assembly polls. The release of this list follows previous announcements and completes a significant portion of the BJP's candidate selection process.
