The Minister of State for Irrigation and Water Resources, Dr. Abhe Singh Yadav, hoisted the tricolor at Faridabad. He congratulated the citizens of the country, state, and district on the 78th Independence Day while hoisting the tricolor. Paying tribute to the freedom fighters and martyrs, Dr. Abhe Singh said that everyone should celebrate national festivals with great pomp.
Prior to this, he visited the Shaheed Smarak to offer a floral wreath and pay homage to the brave martyrs. He said that countless sons of Maa Bharti sacrificed everything for this day. For this day, innumerable patriots endured hardships and sufferings. He said that it is due to their unparalleled sacrifice that we breathe in the air of freedom today.
Dr. Abhay Singh Yadav said that the present state government is committed to 'Good Governance through Service,' has worked for the progress and upliftment of the entire Haryana and every Haryanvi, following Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mantra of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' and 'Haryana Ek-Haryanvi Ek'. Adopting a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption, the government has provided transparent governance.
He said that the present State Government has made revolutionary changes through e-governance in agriculture, industry, trade, employment, education, healthcare, and other sectors. Dr. Abhe Singh Yadav said that we are also celebrating the fourth anniversary of the Drug-Free India Campaign.
This initiative reflects our collective commitment to creating a drug-free India, providing our youth with the opportunity to lead healthy and productive lives. Reaching over 11.22 crore people, NMBA has become a mass movement, supported by over 3.54 lakh youths and more than 2.35 lakh women.
On this auspicious occasion, I urge all the youth and women, who have the potential to lead us to a developed India, to take the lead in this campaign and actively participate at every level to make it successful, said Dr. Abhe Singh Yadav.
