Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini today laid the foundation stone of significant projects worth Rs. 315 crores in Panchkula. These include laying the foundation stone of Engineering and Technical Institute costing Rs. 150 crores and a world-class shooting range to be established at a cost of Rs. 165 crores.
Besides this, he also announced an additional grant of Rs. 10 crores for the development works of Panchkula.Addressing the ceremony, Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that these two projects would be milestones in the development of Panchkula.
He expressed pride that the foundation stones for these projects were laid on International Youth Day, and emphasized that they would ensure a bright future for the youth.The Chief Minister stated that these two institutions will benefit not only the people of Haryana but also the youth from the neighbouring states of Himachal Pradesh and Punjab.
He said that the world-class shooting range, to be established on 13.75 acres, would be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs. 150 crores and would be completed within the next two years. The State Institute of Engineering and Technology, to be established on 10 acres, would be built at an estimated cost of Rs. 165 crores and would be completed within the next three years.
Shooting Range to benefit Athletes from Punjab and Himachal Pradesh
Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that today’s youth are showcasing their talents in both traditional and other sports. He said that this international-level shooting range would nurture talented shooters who would bring national and international recognition to the state.
He further said that Haryana’s own Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh, who won medals in shooting at the Paris Olympics, as examples of this success. He added that athletes from Haryana, as well as neighbouring Punjab and Himachal Pradesh, would also be able to do practice at this shooting range.
State Institute of Engineering and Technology admissions begin in 2023-24
The Chief Minister stated that the State Institute of Engineering and Technology in Panchkula would be the premier technological education institution in Northern India. Admissions for the academic year 2023-24 have already started, with classes for 90 students being conducted at the Government Polytechnic in Sector-26.
This year, the institute will offer courses in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Cyber Security, and Robotics & Automation, with a capacity to admit 180 students, said Sh. Nayab Singh Saini.
Vidhan Sabha Speaker expresses gratitude for the Two Major Projects
Earlier speaking on the occasion, Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Sh. Gian Chand Gupta expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for gifting two significant projects to Panchkula. He described the day as historic for Panchkula residents, as it marks the laying of the foundation for projects that will significantly contribute to the bright future of the youth on International Youth Day.
National and International Games can be hosted in the shooting range
Sh. Gian Chand said that the shooting range would not only provide practice opportunities for emerging shooters but also host national and international competitions. Additionally, an international sports science and recovery centre would be established.
He stated that students from Panchkula and across the state, as well as neighbouring regions, would receive technological education at the State Institute of Engineering and Technology, and contribute to national development. The two projects unveiled today are fundamental to Haryana’s progress and the bright future of its youth, said Sh. Gian Chand Gupta.

हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह सैनी ने पंचकूलावासियों को लगभग 315 करोड़ रूपये की विकास परियोजनाओं की सौगात देते हुए आज सेक्टर-32 में विश्व स्तरीय शूटिंग रेंजस्पोर्ट्स कॉम्प्लेक्स और स्टेट इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ इंजीनियरिंग एंड टेक्नॉलॉजी का शिलान्यास किया। इसके अलावा उन्होंने पंचकूला विधानसभा क्षेत्र के विकास के लिए 10 करोड़ रूपये की राशि देने की भी घोषणा की।
इस अवसर पर आयोजित समारोह को संबोधित करते हुए श्री नायब सिंह सैनी ने कहा कि ये दोनों परियोजनाएं पंचकूला के विकास में मील का पत्थर साबित होंगी। उन्होंने कहा कि यह गर्व की बात है कि आज अंतरराष्ट्रीय युवा दिवस के अवसर पर जिन दो परियोजनाओं का शिलान्यास किया गया है वह युवाओं का उज्ज्वल भविष्य सुनिश्चित करेंगी।

हरियाणा के साथ लगते पंजाब और हिमाचल प्रदेश के खिलाड़ी शूटिंग रेंज में कर सकेंगे अभ्यास
श्री नायब सिंह सैनी ने कहा कि आज युवा परम्परागत खेलों के साथ-साथ अन्य खेलों में भी अपनी प्रतिभा दिखा रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि इस अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर की शूटिंग रेंज में शूटिंग के प्रतिभाशाली खिलाड़ी तैयार हो सकेंगे, जो प्रदेश का नाम राष्ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर रोशन करेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि हरियाणा की बेटी मनु भाकर और बेटे सरबजोत सिंह ने पेरिस ओलम्पिंक में शूटिंग में ही पदक जीतकर देश का नाम विश्व भर में रोशन किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि पंचकूला के साथ-साथ हरियाणा के अन्य क्षेत्रों और हरियाणा के साथ लगते पंजाब और हिमाचल प्रदेश के खिलाड़ी भी इस शूटिंग रेंज में अभ्यास कर सकेंगे।
राजकीय इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज में प्रवेश वर्ष 2023-24 में किया आरम्भ
मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि पंचकूला में स्थापित होने वाला स्टेट इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ इंजीनियरिंग एंड टेक्नोलॉजी प्रौद्योगिकी शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में उत्तर भारत का सबसे बेहतरीन संस्थान होगा। इस राजकीय इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज में प्रवेश वर्ष 2023-24 में आरम्भ कर दिया गया था तथा विद्यार्थियों की कक्षाएं राजकीय बहुतकनीकी सेक्टर-26 के परिसर में 90 विद्यार्थियों के साथ शुरू की थी। इस वर्ष से संस्थान में इमर्जिंग टेक्नोलॉजी के कोर्सिज जैसे आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस और मशीन लर्निंग, साइबर सिक्योरिटी और रोबोटिक्स एवं ऑटोमेशन में 180 विद्यार्थियों की प्रवेश क्षमताओं के साथ आरम्भ किया जा रहा है।
हमारी सरकार तकनीकी शिक्षा को बढ़ावा देने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध
उन्होंने कहा कि इस कालेज में छात्रों को नवीनतम तकनीकी ज्ञान और कौशल प्रदान किया जाएगा। जिससे वो उद्योग की मांगों को पूरा कर सकेंगे और राज्य एवं देश के विकास में योगदान देंगे। हमारी सरकार तकनीकी शिक्षा को बढ़ावा देने के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है, जिससे हमारे युवा ना केवल रोजगार प्राप्त करेंगे बल्कि उद्यमी भी बनेंगे।
बच्चों को राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर शिक्षित करने के लिए प्रयासों के तहत सरकार द्वारा हरियाणा में राष्ट्रीय महत्व के विभिन्न संस्थाओं की स्थापना की गई है। जिसमें पंचकूला में निफट, उमरी कुरूक्षेत्र में एनआईडी, महाज्ञानी ऋषि अष्टावक्र केन्द्र (बोलने और सुनने में अक्षम छात्रों के लिए) जो कि उत्तर भारत में पहला ऐसा एकमात्र संस्थान है।
15 नये पॉलिटेक्निक और 4 नये राजकीय इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेजों की करी स्थापना
उन्होंने कहा कि हमारी सरकार द्वारा प्रोद्योगिक के उभरते क्षेत्रों में उन्नत प्रशिक्षण प्रदान करने और हरियाणा के युवाओं के लिए अधिक रोजगार की संभावनाएं पैदा करने के लिए पिछले 10 वर्षों में 15 नये पॉलिटेक्निक और 4 नये राजकीय इंजीनियरिंग काॅलेजों की स्थापना की गई है। जिसके परिणाम स्वरूप सरकारी पॉलिटेक्निक में वर्ष 2023-24 तक छात्रों की प्रवेश क्षमता 4590 और 4 राजकीय इंजीनियरिंग काॅलेजों में प्रवेश क्षमता 1110 बढ़ाई गई है।
दो महत्वपूर्ण परियोजनाओं की सौगात देने पर मुख्यमंत्री का जताया आभार
इस अवसर पर संबोधित करते हुए हरियाणा विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्री ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता ने पंचकूला को दो महत्वपूर्ण परियोजनाओं की सौगात देने पर मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह सैनी का आभार प्रकट किया। उन्होंने कहा कि आज का दिन पंचकूलावासियों के लिए ऐतिहासिक दिन है। जब मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह सैनी ने अंतर्राष्ट्रीय युवा दिवस पर दो परियोजनाओं की आधारशिला रखी है। जो हमारे युवाओं के भविष्य को उज्जवल बनाने में अहम साबित होंगी।
राष्ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय खेलों की कर सकेंगे मेजबानी
उन्होंने कहा कि इस शूटिंग रेंज के स्थापित होने से शूटिंग के उभरते खिलाड़ी ना केवल यहां अभ्यास कर सकेंगे बल्कि यहां राष्ट्रीय और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय खेलों की मेजबानी भी की जा सकेगी। इसके अलावा यहां अंतर्राष्ट्रीय एथिलीटों द्वारा खेल विज्ञान और रिकवरी केन्द्र भी स्थापित किया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि स्टेट इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ इंजीनियरिंग एंड टेक्नॉलॉजी में पंचकूला के साथ-साथ प्रदेशभर से बच्चे यहां पर प्रौद्योगिकी शिक्षा प्राप्त करके इंजीनियर बन सकेंगे और देश के नवनिर्माण में अपना योगदान देंगे। आज की ये दोनों परियोजनाएं हरियाणा की प्रगति के साथ-साथ युवाओं के उज्ज्वल भविष्य का आधार है।
