Punjab Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Balbir Singh said that the 829 Aam Aadmi Clinics being run successfully by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann Punjab Government for comprehensive improvement in health facilities are proving to be a boon for the people and their number will increase soon. No stone is being left unturned by the Bhagwant Mann Government for the welfare of the state, but funds withheld by the Central Government for a long time are becoming hurdles in the way of the smooth development of the state, he further said.
The Health Minister was here to inaugurate the free multispecialty hospital opened by Sri Sathya Sai Manav Seva Trust and Lions Club at village Kurdi. The Health Minister said that the Union Government has withheld funds to the turn of Rs One thousand crore related to the Health Sector and about Rs 07 thousand crore which could be used for the development of infrastructure in villages. Dr Balbir Singh said that while continuous efforts are being made by the Punjab Government to improve the Health Sector, the contribution made by various Health organizations is also important.
The free multispecialty hospital opened by Sri Sathya Sai Manav Seva Trust and Lions Club is an example of this, where 04 OPDs, Dental treatment and ambulance facilities are being provided. He said that this free hospital to be connected with Dr BR Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences SAS Nagar (Mohali) so that when a patient is referred from the hospital of village Kurdi, the patient can get preferential and quality treatment.
He also flagged off the ambulance. Earlier, at Sector 71, SAS Nagar, Health Minister Dr Balbir Singh said that the Farishtey Scheme being run by the Punjab Government is no less than a boon for the people. He said that private hospitals have also been brought under its ambit. He appealed to the private hospitals to contribute to making the health services of the state, the first in the country by giving full support to the government in this scheme.
The Health Minister while congratulating on the National Doctor's Day during both events said that this day has been celebrated in memory of Bharat Ratna Shri B. C. Roy, who, while contributing to the country's independence, also did exemplary work for the strengthening of the country's health sector. His birth anniversary and death anniversary also fall on the same day i.e. on July 1st.
The Health Minister Appealed to every person related to the medical field to draw inspiration from Roy's life. On this occasion Health, Civil Surgeon Dr. Devinder Kumar and SDM Mohali Depankar Garg were also present.

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਿਹਤ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਆਪਕ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਹਿਤ ਚਲਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ 829 ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਕਲੀਨਿਕ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਵਰਦਾਨ ਸਿੱਧ ਹੋ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਤੇ ਜਲਦ ਹੀ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਅੱਵਲ ਦਰਜੇ ਦਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਈ ਕਸਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਪਰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਲੰਮੇਂ ਸਮੇਂ ਤੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਰੋਕੇ ਫੰਡ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀ ਤਰੱਕੀ ਦੇ ਰਾਹ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੋੜਾ ਬਣ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।
ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਗਟਾਵਾ ਸਿਹਤ ਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਭਲਾਈ ਮੰਤਰੀ, ਪੰਜਾਬ, ਡਾ. ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਕੁਰੜੀ ਵਿਖੇ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸੱਤਿਆ ਸਾਈਂ ਮਾਨਵ ਸੇਵਾ ਟਰੱਸਟ ਅਤੇ ਲਾਇਨਜ਼ ਕਲੱਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੇ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਮਲਟੀਸਪੈਸ਼ਿਲਟੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਦਾ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਕਰਨ ਮੌਕੇ ਕੀਤਾ।ਸਿਹਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਖੇਤਰ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਕਰੀਬ 01 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਅਤੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੁਨਿਆਦੀ ਢਾਂਚੇ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਵਰਤੇ ਜਾ ਸਕਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਕਰੀਬ 07 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਫ਼ੰਡ ਰੋਕੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
ਡਾ. ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਿਹਤ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੇ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਲਈ ਨਿਰੰਤਰ ਯਤਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਹਨ, ਉੱਥੇ ਵੱਖੋ-ਵੱਖ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਵੀ ਅਹਿਮ ਹੈ।ਸ੍ਰੀ ਸੱਤਿਆ ਸਾਈਂ ਮਾਨਵ ਸੇਵਾ ਟਰੱਸਟ ਤੇ ਲਾਇਨਜ਼ ਕਲੱਬ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਿਆ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਮਲਟੀਸਪੈਸ਼ਿਲਟੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਹੈ। ਜਿੱਥੇ 04 ਓ.ਪੀ.ਡੀਜ਼, ਦੰਦਾਂ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਜ ਅਤੇ ਐਂਬੂਲੈਂਸ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਦਾ ਐੱਸ.ਏ.ਐੱਸ ਨਗਰ (ਮੋਹਾਲੀ) ਦੇ ਡਾ. ਬੀ.ਆਰ. ਅੰਬੇਦਕਰ ਸਟੇਟ ਇੰਸਟੀਟਿਊਟ ਆਫ਼ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਸਇੰਸਿਜ਼ ਨਾਲ ਤਾਲਮੇਲ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।
ਇਸ ਦਾ ਫਾਇਦਾ ਇਹ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿ ਜਦੋਂ ਪਿੰਡ ਕੁਰੜੀ ਦੇ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਮਰੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਰੈਫਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦਾ ਉਥੇ ਪਹਿਲ ਦੇ ਅਧਾਰ ਉਤੇ ਮਰੀਜ਼ ਦਾ ਇਲਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਐਂਬੂਲੈਂਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਰਵਾਨਾ ਵੀ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਸ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸੈਕਟਰ 71, ਐਸ.ਏ.ਐਸ. ਨਗਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਆਈ.ਵੀ.ਵਾਈ. ਤੋਂ ਲਿਵਾਸਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਬਦੀਲ ਹੋਏ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕ ਅਰਪਣ ਕਰਨ ਮੌਕੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਡਾ. ਬਲਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਚਲਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਫਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਸਕੀਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਕਿਸੇ ਵਰਦਾਨ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪ੍ਰਾਈਵੇਟ ਹਸਪਤਾਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਘੇਰੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰਾਈਵੇਟ ਹਸਪਤਾਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸਕੀਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਵਲ ਬਨਾਉਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਾਵੇ। ਸਿਹਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਸਮਾਗਮਾਂ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੌਮੀ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਦਿਹਾੜੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਧਾਈਆਂ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਦਿਹਾੜਾ ਭਾਰਤ ਰਤਨ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਬੀ.ਸੀ. ਰੌਏ ਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੀ ਅਜ਼ਾਦੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਇਆ, ਉਥੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਦੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਖੇਤਰ ਦੀ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤੀ ਲਈ ਵੀ ਮਿਸਾਲੀ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤਾ। 01 ਜੁਲਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ ਦਿਨ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਤੇ 01 ਜੁਲਾਈ ਨੂੰ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਦੁਨੀਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਰੁਖ਼ਸਤ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ। ਸਿਹਤ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਖੇਤਰ ਨਾਲ ਸਬੰਧਤ ਹਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਡਾ. ਰੌਏ ਦੇ ਜੀਵਨ ਤੋਂ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਲੈਣ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਐਸ.ਡੀ.ਐਮ. ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਦੀਪਾਂਕਰ ਗਰਗ, ਸਿਵਲ ਸਰਜਨ ਡਾ. ਦਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ, ਡਾ. ਸਤੀਸ਼ ਗਰਗ, ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ ਅਮਰ ਵਿਵੇਕ, ਪ੍ਰਵੀਨ ਕਾਂਸਲ, ਸਤੀਸ਼ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਸਿਧਾਰਥ ਗਰਗ, ਲਾਇਨ ਆਰ ਕੇ ਰਾਣਾ, ਤੇਜ ਕੇ., ਅਰੁਣ ਵਾਲੀਆ, ਅਜੈ ਸ਼ਾਹੀ, ਡਾ. ਅਸ਼ਵਨੀ ਵਿਜ, ਐਡਵੋਕੇਟ ਕੇਤਨ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ, ਉਮਾਕਾਂਤ ਮਹਿਤਾ, ਪੁਨੀਤ ਮਲਹੋਤਰਾ, ਸ. ਛੱਜਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਸਮੇਤ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀ ਤੇ ਪਤਵੰਤੇ ਹਾਜ਼ਰ ਸਨ।
