Haryana Chief Minister, Nayab Singh Saini has directed the officers of Transport Department to accelerate the distribution of HAPPY (Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana) cards so that the people covered under this scheme can avail the benefit of free bus travel.The Chief Minister gave these instructions during a review meeting of the Transport Department held here today. Transport Minister, Sh. Aseem Goyal was also present at the meeting.
On being inquired by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini regarding the status of HAPPY Card distribution, officers reported that about 3.25 lakh cards have already been distributed, a total of 10 lakh cards have been printed and these will also be distributed soon.
The Chief Minister directed to launch a dedicated campaign to expedite the distribution process for covering the remaining beneficiaries. He further directed the deployment of additional workforce for this purpose.
During the review of the concessional bus pass facility provided to 42 different categories by the Haryana Transport Department, Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh suggested that although the State Government has started the facility of Haryana Roadways buses for the service of the general public, the department should explore avenues for generating additional revenue through commercial activities at bus stands and other feasible means.
The Chief Minister Sh Nayab Singh also instructed swift resolution of complaints raised through Jan Samvad and CM Window, related to the department, on priority basis emphasizing zero tolerance for delays. He also called for the formulation of a special policy ensuring immediate treatment for individuals injured in road accidents in the state, aiming to eliminate any financial barrier to medical care.

Anupama, Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Sh Rajesh Khullar, Additional Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Dr. Amit Agrawal, Principal Secretary Transport, Sh Navdeep Singh Virk, Director State Transport, Sh Sujan Singh, Director Secondary Education, Sh Jitendra Kumar, Transport Commissioner Sh Yashendra Singh and other senior officers were also present in the meeting.

मुख्यमंत्री ने जनसंवाद में आई समस्याओं को प्राथमिकता से निपटाने के दिए निर्देश

हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह ने परिवहन विभाग के अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि हैप्पी (हरियाणा अंत्योदय परिवार परिवहन योजना) कार्ड का जल्द से जल्द वितरण करें ताकि इस योजना के तहत कवर होने वाले लोग निःशुल्क बस यात्रा का लाभ उठा सकें। मुख्यमंत्री आज यहां परिवहन विभाग की समीक्षा बैठक की अध्यक्षता कर रहे थे। बैठक में परिवहन मंत्री श्री असीम गोयल भी उपस्थित थे।
मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह द्वारा हैप्पी कार्ड के वितरण से संबंधित पूछे गए सवाल पर अधिकारियों ने जानकारी दी कि अभी तक करीब सवा तीन लाख कार्ड वितरित किये जा चुके हैं, कुल दस लाख कार्ड प्रिंट हो चुके हैं और इनका भी जल्द वितरण कर दिया जाएगा। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि हैप्पी कार्ड योजना के तहत सभी लाभार्थी कवर होंगे, इसलिए एक विशेष अभियान चलाकर बचे हुए लाभार्थियों को हैप्पी कार्ड का जल्द से जल्द वितरण सुनिश्चित किया जाए, इसके लिए अतिरिक्त कार्य-बल की नियुक्ति की जाए।
मुख्यमंत्री ने हरियाणा परिवहन विभाग द्वारा अलग-अलग 42 श्रेणियों को दी जा रही रियायती बस पास सुविधा की समीक्षा करते हुए कहा कि हालांकि प्रदेश सरकार ने सरकारी बसों की सुविधा को आमजन की सेवा के लिए शुरू किया हुआ है, फिर भी परिवहन विभाग को बस स्टैंड आदि पर कमर्शियल गतिविधियों का संचालन करके अतिरिक्त आमदनी की संभावनाएं भी तलाशनी चाहिएं।
मुख्यमंत्री श्री नायब सिंह ने जनसंवाद और सीएम विंडो पर परिवहन विभाग से संबंधित शिकायतों का प्राथमिकता से निवारण करने के निर्देश देते हुए कहा कि इन शिकायतों को निपटाने में देरी नहीं होनी चाहिए। उन्होंने प्रदेश में सड़क दुर्घटनाओं में घायल होने वाले अनजान लोगों के तत्काल ईलाज के लिए कोई खास नीति बनाने के भी निर्देश दिए ताकि कोई घायल व्यक्ति पैसे की कमी के कारण ईलाज करवाने से वंचित न रह जाए।
इस अवसर पर मुख्य सचिव श्री टीवीएसएन प्रसाद, स्कूल शिक्षा विभाग की अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव श्रीमती जी अनुपमा, मुख्यमंत्री के मुख्य प्रधान सचिव श्री राजेश खुल्लर, मुख्यमंत्री के अतिरिक्त प्रधान सचिव डॉ अमित अग्रवाल, परिवहन विभाग के प्रधान सचिव श्री नवदीप सिंह विर्क, राज्य परिवहन विभाग के निदेशक श्री सुजान सिंह, माध्यमिक शिक्षा विभाग के निदेशक श्री जितेंद्र कुमार, परिवहन आयुक्त श्री यशेंद्र सिंह के अलावा अन्य वरिष्ठ अधिकारी उपस्थित थे।
