Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring today alleged that there was complete collapse of governance, law and order and administrative structure in Punjab and people were not feeling safe anymore.
He said the Aam Aadmi Party government was surviving on grace period as it had already lost its mandate in the recently concluded parliamentary election. Warring was doing the door to door campaign along with his wife Ms Amrita Warring in Ward 76 and Basti Danishmanda areas today in support of the party candidate Ms Surinder Kaur.
Referring to the incident of the murder of a senior citizen who was also a social activist and the daily looting of people in the city at gunpoint, Warring said, people had never felt so unsafe and insecure in Punjab as they are feeling now under the AAP rule.
The PCC President referred to the poor civic amenities and the complete collapse of civic services in the city. He pointed out, there was just a few hours of rainfall and the entire city had been submerged under flood. He promised to address the issue of waterlogging in the city by all means.
The Ludhiana MP maintained that the AAP government was living in the grace period as people of Punjab had already delivered their verdict against it in the parliamentary elections. “Victory in Jalandhar West will be the final nail in the AAP government’s coffin in Punjab”, he remarked, while expressing confidence that the Congress candidate will win by a huge margin and improve the lead of the parliamentary elections from this segment.
The PCC president cautioned people against voting for the BJP, or any other party in the state. He said, voting for the BJP or the Bahujan Samaj Party will mean voting for the AAP, as they were all the proxies of the ruling party.
Warring and his wife Ms Amrita, accompanied by party workers went from door to door in different residential areas and interacted with people. Warring, while thanking them for an emphatic victory in the parliamentary election, urged them to maintain the momentum and elect the Congress candidate to the Punjab Vidhan Sabha with a record margin.
Ms Amrita Warring was seen interacting and mixing up with the women workers of the party. The party workers were seen clicking selfies with Ms Warring, while at the same time promising her their support for the party candidate, Ms Surinder Kaur.

पंजाब कांग्रेस के अध्यक्ष अमरिंदर सिंह राजा वड़िंग ने आज आरोप लगाया कि पंजाब में शासन, कानून-व्यवस्था और प्रशासनिक ढांचा पूरी तरह ध्वस्त हो चुका है और लोग अब सुरक्षित महसूस नहीं कर रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि आम आदमी पार्टी सरकार ग्रेस पीरियड पर चल रही है, क्योंकि वह हाल ही में संपन्न संसदीय चुनाव में अपना जनादेश खो चुकी है।
वड़िंग आज पार्टी उम्मीदवार सुरिंदर कौर के समर्थन में वार्ड 76 और बस्ती दानिशमंदा क्षेत्रों में अपनी पत्नी अमृता वड़िंग के साथ घर-घर जाकर प्रचार कर रहे थे। एक वरिष्ठ नागरिक जो एक सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता भी थे, की हत्या की घटना और शहर में बंदूक की नोक पर लोगों से रोजाना हो रही लूटपाट का जिक्र करते हुए वड़िंग ने कहा कि पंजाब में लोगों ने कभी इतना असुरक्षित महसूस नहीं किया जितना कि अब आप के शासन में महसूस कर रहे हैं।
पीसीसी अध्यक्ष ने शहर में खराब नागरिक सुविधाओं और नागरिक सेवाओं के पूरी तरह से ध्वस्त होने का जिक्र किया। उन्होंने कहा कि कुछ ही घंटों की बारिश हुई और पूरा शहर बाढ़ में डूब गया। उन्होंने शहर में जलभराव की समस्या का हर तरह से समाधान करने का वादा किया। लुधियाना के सांसद ने कहा कि आप सरकार अभी ग्रेस पीरियड में जी रही है क्योंकि पंजाब के लोगों ने संसदीय चुनावों में इसके खिलाफ अपना फैसला पहले ही सुना दिया है।
उन्होंने कहा, "जालंधर पश्चिम में जीत पंजाब में आप सरकार के ताबूत में आखिरी कील साबित होगी", उन्होंने विश्वास जताया कि कांग्रेस उम्मीदवार भारी अंतर से जीतेंगे और इस क्षेत्र से संसदीय चुनावों में अपनी बढ़त को और बेहतर करेंगे। पीसीसी अध्यक्ष ने लोगों को राज्य में भाजपा या किसी अन्य पार्टी को वोट न देने के लिए आगाह किया। उन्होंने कहा कि भाजपा या बहुजन समाज पार्टी को वोट देने का मतलब आप को वोट देना होगा, क्योंकि वे सभी सत्तारूढ़ पार्टी के प्रतिनिधि हैं।
वड़िंग और उनकी पत्नी अमृता पार्टी कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ विभिन्न आवासीय क्षेत्रों में घर-घर गए और लोगों से बातचीत की। वड़िंग ने संसदीय चुनाव में मिली शानदार जीत के लिए उन्हें धन्यवाद देते हुए उनसे इस लय को बनाए रखने और कांग्रेस उम्मीदवार को रिकॉर्ड अंतर से पंजाब विधानसभा में जिताने का आग्रह किया। अमृता वड़िंग पार्टी की महिला कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ बातचीत करती और उनसे मिलती-जुलती नजर आईं। पार्टी कार्यकर्ताओं ने अमृता वड़िंग के साथ सेल्फी ली और साथ ही उन्हें पार्टी उम्मीदवार सुरिंदर कौर के लिए अपना समर्थन देने का वादा किया।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਅਮਰਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਜਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਦੋਸ਼ ਲਾਇਆ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨ, ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਵਿਵਸਥਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨਿਕ ਢਾਂਚਾ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਢਹਿ-ਢੇਰੀ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਆਮ ਆਦਮੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਥੋੜੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਲਈ ਹੈ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਭਰੋਸਾ ਗਵਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ। ਰਾਜਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅੱਜ ਵਾਰਡ ਨੰਬਰ 76 ਅਤੇ ਬਸਤੀ ਦਾਨਿਸ਼ਮੰਦਾਂ ਇਲਾਕੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਸੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਦੇ ਹੱਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਘਰ-ਘਰ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।
ਇਕ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਸਿਟੀਜ਼ਨ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਇਕ ਸਮਾਜ ਸੇਵੀ ਵੀ ਸੀ ਦੇ ਕਤਲ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿਚ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਬੰਦੂਕ ਦੀ ਨੋਕ 'ਤੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਹੋ ਰਹੀ ਲੁੱਟ-ਖਸੁੱਟ ਦੀ ਘਟਨਾ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਦੇ ਵੀ ਇੰਨਾ ਅਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ, ਜਿੰਨਾ ਉਹ ਹੁਣ 'ਆਪ' ਦੇ ਰਾਜ ਵਿਚ ਮਹਿਸੂਸ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਾੜੀਆਂ ਨਾਗਰਿਕ ਸਹੂਲਤਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰੀ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਢਹਿ-ਢੇਰੀ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਜ਼ਿਕਰ ਕੀਤਾ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਕੁਝ ਘੰਟੇ ਹੀ ਬਾਰਿਸ਼ ਹੋਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਪੂਰਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਹੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਾਰ ਹੇਠ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੇਮ ਦੀ ਸਮੱਸਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਸਾਡੀ ''ਜਲੰਧਰ ਪੱਛਮੀ 'ਚ ਜਿੱਤ ਪੰਜਾਬ 'ਚ 'ਆਪ' ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੇ ਤਾਬੂਤ 'ਚ ਆਖਰੀ ਕਿੱਲ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ। ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਨੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਜਾਂ ਸੂਬੇ 'ਚ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟ ਨਾ ਪਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਸੁਚੇਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਜਾਂ ਬਹੁਜਨ ਸਮਾਜ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਮਤਲਬ 'ਆਪ' ਨੂੰ ਵੋਟ ਦੇਣਾ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਸੱਤਾਧਾਰੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਮਿਲੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ।
ਵੜਿੰਗ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਪਤਨੀ ਸ੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਾ ਨੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵਰਕਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ੀ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਘਰ-ਘਰ ਜਾ ਕੇ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਵੜਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਸੰਸਦੀ ਚੋਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਜਿੱਤ ਲਈ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਧੰਨਵਾਦ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਗਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰੱਖਣ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਫਰਕ ਨਾਲ ਕਾਂਗਰਸੀ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਲਈ ਚੁਣਨ ਦੀ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ। ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਾ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਨੇ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੀਆਂ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਵਰਕਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ। ਪਾਰਟੀ ਵਰਕਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਵੜਿੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਸੈਲਫੀ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਦੇਖੇ ਗਏ, ਉੱਥੇ ਹੀ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਸ਼੍ਰੀਮਤੀ ਸੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਕੌਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਰਥਨ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਵਾਅਦਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਰ ਆਏ।
