DLIC/ DLTFC approves 7 cases under SEI at Kupwara

The District Level Implementation Committee cum District Level Task Force Committee (DLIC/ DLTFC) meeting under Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative (SEI) was convened today at Kupwara under the chairpersonship of District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan.

The said Committee scrutinized all the files, and interviews of 8 candidates were conducted under the Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative as per the standing norms of the scheme. Out of total 8 cases, 7 were approved under SEI for setting up of their business units and expansion of existing businesses, 1 case was deferred.

The meeting was attended by DSWO Kupwara, LDM, AD Employment, Employment Officer and representatives from EDI, DIC besides other officers. The aim of the Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative Scheme is to provide financial assistance to youth of J&K UT for establishing their business units. Scheme encourages innovation and job creation through creation of new businesses and expansion of existing businesses.
